I was never able to put down my name on the list. What I do is visit the store from time to time. Depending on whether the store sales feel like to show you. Just my own experience. Good luck on your order!

i asked because we often heard that waiting list is closed and no longer open in numerous H store

my case is i ve been to on the list since 2009 oct SA take down contact , leather size and color perference and say 2 years wait.

now almost 2 years
and i called H store few days ago because i want to know whether i am being fooled because i never got any reply

But H confirmed the systerm has my name

I ask can i buy something to speed up the sequence and the SA say not necessary

my very first is 1 year and 4 months, didnt even buy anything to speed it up, i actually forgot abt it completely

waiting list can be as soon as 1 week to years depends on what you are ordering and how long is the waitlist in every store

im sure urs will show up soon, just be patient, keep chasing on it also no point

I got my Birkin last year. I didn't have any major purchase and waited about 4 months. My ombré CDC wait was actually longer! Now my SA tells me that there is a real shortage on both Kelly's and Birkins, so your best bet is to check in from time to time.

Hi nyyparis,
when you made a podium order, did you call them fr where you were?
and did you have to establish a relationship first with an SA before they took your order? bec usu in the US or anywhere else, they do require you build a relationship with them first by being a regular customer before they sell you a birkin or kelly :)

I love your Birkin! :) It's great you didnt have to wait for too long :D and didnt have to make a lot of purchases prior :p May I know fr which store yo got your B? thank you :)

was never on any list since I wanted a HAC^ .. and SA found 5 for me to choose from :p
I did express interests in certain colors and leathers but not sure If I ws ever put on those lists ..
Also placed SO's a couple of years back and not sure if that was ever entered in to the system :shrug:

Hermes actually suggested to me that I "needed" a Birkin before I ever decided that I actually even wanted one...lol When I first started shopping at Hermes, I was not really sure that I would want a Birkin (that sure changed!) When I decided that I wanted one, they offered me the color that I wanted immediately. Things sure have changed at Hermes over the last few years though... I continually see games being played in the US with getting these bags.
