Did I mention that this bag weighs 5 ounces! Don’t get me wrong. I have a collection of premium leather bags and I love them. But the larger ones weigh in at 1-2 ½ pounds empty. I have a gorgeous vacchetta one that is 3 lbs.
So it is refreshing to have a larger bag that weighs next to nothing and still looks and feels like leather.

I think if you decide to get one you will be totally surprised at how mich they look and feel like leather. Now I will cease with the VH praises and go back to my major love Masseccesi.
The bag I impulse bought from Sezane was not all I'd dreamed it to be, so my money tree unexpectedly regrew a branch. Within an hour of getting the email and waking up this morning, I had already purchased the dark brown (taupe?) shopper. I love that I can use it as a work bag for my laptop during the week, and then shove all my returns and new purchases into it when running errands on the weekend.
It is funny you say that. This morning, I was excited to carry this new to me gorgeous MM Minerva midi procured from another TPFer. However, once I realized today is the “too many things needed” kind of day, back to the shopper I went

The handheld or the mini duffle!Which do you have your eye on?
I was strongly considering the handheld in white for this sale, but sadly, it is not eligible :/. The mini duffel is though!
Just got my shopper today in stone! And wow is it lightweight! It’s pretty smooth and supple and I like how there’s the drawstring for style and functionality (extra closure). The magnetic closure is pretty dang strong as well so for those concerned about the bag without a zipper, I highly doubt anyone can get into it without jostling your bag/you noticing.
I was wondering if I needed to get a purse organizer/insert but I don’t think I do afterall since there are two inner pockets for my phone and keys. I keep my makeup and other stuff organized in pouches anyways so it doesn’t really matter if I had an insert l suppose...
Saw on the website that this is essentially the same PU that they use for the seats in luxury cars (Audi, BMW, Tesla etc) so while my bag is brand new, I do think it will stand the test of time. Think the PU baking in the car under the sun. Note that the head on pic had stuffing so it mimicks how the bag looks when it’s full. Hope this helps someone!

It is lovely. It is ironic that you should post this today. Last week I saw one of the original VH leather shoulder bags on sale on eBay at a ridiculously low price. I had sold mine last year when I became enamored of some bigger name brands. So I bought this VH. I have been using it for two days now and had totally forgotten what a great bag this is. VH bags are excellent quality, extremely well made with painted edges that are perfect. Plus they weigh nothing! So I have come full circle and am once again totally in love with my VH. I hate that they went “totally” green and are selling only Technik now. However, I have one Technik bag that is just as lovely as the real leather ones were. So I will be going back to VH in the future.
I’m actually trying to get away from mid-range brand name bags like coach/MK/Kate Spade/Tory Burch. Nothing wrong with the quality per se, just too many people carrying the same thing and the styles are very trend based so I’ve been trying to sell my old coach bags. Was looking to upgrade to a designer bag along the Dior/Chloe/Celine tier but also running into the same problem with everyone carrying the same thing. I call it the big city syndrome lol. With VH still kinda under the radar and high quality I decided to take the plunge! (Also, I’m a fan of Tesla and VonHolzhausen’s husband is the head designer soooo I guess I might be biased as well )
