I have a feeling this was part of the reason for the limited run and targeting the 'Men's Universe'.
Only H-ardcore women can appreciate the tar undertones within the aroma.
They were available but like everything at H, it depends on the store/SA/iching.
I have a Chocolate Swift Travel Web Bolide but still would have still considered the amazing V leather had it not felt double the weight empty.
I think you're right on the demographic targeting - it's certainly a weighty leather, both in aroma and heft!
They had this sniff-box exhibit in London last year and it was a fabulous way to experience the leather - if the texture were just a little softer I may have bitten the bullet, but I'm not a fan of the overly recessed grain.
If I didn't have any other pressing bag goals, I could happily see a Plume joining my collection, for the exclusivity of the special leather as much as anything!

I was at FSH earlier today (yay vaccine! ) and saw these by the window display
Of course it says on the window that the bags are part of the window’s decor (i.e. not for sale) but I wonder if these were made to be sold to customers. If so, how can I get that Volynka Birkin?

but what I meant was if Volynka Birkins and Kellys were made to be sold. I guess I will find out someday! I’m gonna manifest it
Display ones definitely not but you can certainly request for the 3 designs it launched in for sure. HAC/ Plume/ Bolide I think? I will post if I get any updates from my Paris SA. Btw we know that Volynka Mini Kelly II was launched.
I must be a H-ardcore Hermes woman. This display literally made my heartbeat accelerate to the same level as when I got my first Birkin. As I used to see Himalayas in the wild practically every week, that bag left me cold. Happy to bring home a special Ulysses which I gifted DH. It’s scent of my fave Chanel Cuir de Russie and Lapsang Souchong tea was strong enough to perfume all my luggage contents despite being in a box. Let’s hope H makes more than just those 6 items and I shall be asking my Paris SA for more info.
I’m not sure why it needs it’s own brush but hey, not complaining.

Wondering if a Mini K in this is just a bit too strange? It strikes me as a leather which needs a more masculine or unisex vibe. In a smaller size for me.
