Does anyone have any comments on the Madison Bristol bag? Particularly is it heavy? Is the longer strap comfortable to use? How would it stand up to daily use? For the last year, I have been using a contemporary Coach backpack (Campus 23, I think) and am disappointed that the leather ring that holds the straps on top has detached and now only a thin strip of webbing is anchoring the straps. I will bring the bag to the Coach store to see what they can do but I am thinking a vintage bag may hold up better?

I had a Pierpont, which is a smaller version of the Bristol, minus the handles. It was not heavy at all. The shoulder strap seemed very long, too long for me (I'm 5"4".) The bag would bang against my thigh when carried.

I definitely would not recommend the Bristol (or any Madison) for daily use. They're delicate.

I was looking for that color chart, thank you for reposting it.
Going by that chart, the color of this Pierre would be garnet, tho they must have made more colors then the ones on that chart, there is no red on there the butter color is missing and then there is this.

:heart::heart::heart::heart:

This is Celadone. I have a bag and a belt in this color, the color is marked on the belt. It looks very blue on the swatch, but it’s more green in real life.
