Hi, I’m looking for a vintage tote that will fit a small laptop. Looking at the Legacy tote 9090, but there are not too many of them. Any thoughts on others too search? Would love to see some photos- thanks so much!

How wide is your laptop? I’ve been on the same quest recently. Mine is 13.5 inches wide, not diagonal. Most vintage totes fit either up to 13 (too small for me) or are 16 inches wide, and huge/heavy. Are you OK with an open top? I really liked the marketing tote, but I commute by subway + walk, so need some protection from the elements and sticky fingers, I felt uncomfortable carrying it. My favorites for now are an American Icon tote (not vintage, but great otherwise) and this bag - don’t remember what it is, but it’s slim and fits my laptop snugly.

I also have a Barclay tote for when I need to carry other stuff too. It’s huge and provides an easy access to everything.

That's happened to me twice! I have two navy Willises because each time I thought I was buying black Willises. Didn't stop me from keeping them, though. I didn't think I would like the navy but I do.
That would be so aggravating. Especially the 2nd time. I have gotten lucky I think, I really think both of my black ones are truly black, a Station and a riding bag. I don't intend on getting any more black so hopefully I am good from here out.

I know this topic has been discussed before but I’m looking for more thoughts on the manor bag. Looking at past discussions the consensus seems to be that it’s a heavy bag! In my mind i picture it as a larger Regina... but then the Regina is really light! So I’m looking for some comparison of the bag’s weight to other medium to large vintage bags like the station or stewardess.
And, for those who use and carry their manor bags, do you find it cumbersome in general? I am eyeing one right now - mostly because I have been looking for a long adjustable strap for another bag and the one that comes with that bag seems perfect. If I get the bag I actually don’t plan to use the strap with it and will just carry it by the top handle.
However, since I take public transit to work, I’m worried that it would be a difficult bag to get in and out of, when I’m standing on the bus, for instance. So if anyone has experience with the bag I’d really appreciate some feedback. Thanks!

hi, I have and use a manor bag occasionally for work. I have held a Regina but that bag is much smaller and lighter as it does not have a middle zipped compartment or double lined sections. The weight of the bag was a problem until I switched to using one of the new wider coach detachable straps which gave it a more modern edge as well as being more comfortable shoulder/ cross body carry. I tend to carry it crossbody most and find it easy to access my bus pass in the outside pocket and to open the turnlock flap with one hand to access the contents. I am not so keen on opening it hand held, as it gaps open outward and is more difficult to fish around in it one handed. Overall, I love the look of the bag, smart and feminine. I hope that is helpful.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the manor bag!! It’s definitely helpful! Thanks!!!

What is your favorite green that Coach made? Do I really need a St Patrick's Day bag?
My favorite vintage green is that jade they made in 1993. They made a Becket Zip in it among other styles.

My all time favorite greens are the emerald they made for Legacy in 2012 and the jade (I think) they made for Madison around the same time.

My favorite is the jade green too (far right, Court bag). I like the brightness of it. I wish all of Coach's greens were at least obviously green. You can hardly tell that the Crosby in this photo is green, but it is.

Yes! I think a green bag is great to add to anyone's collection. I'm a 3rd on jade, I also like loden (olive).

I agree. Here is my one and only green, with her sister in red! I’d love another green (though I’m trying to be good...). I think the seller called this “hunter green” but I don’t think that was an official colour name. I do prefer the deeper green, similar to Morgan’s Willis.

This pic is so helpful! Ya I think agree with everyone that the Jade green is one of the prettiest.
