Hairy Eyeball!!! LOL!! I know that look. I told my husband that I rehab and sell them, and he gets all excited that I am monetizing my obsession! I do sell them (some of them!) :amuse:

And there is no one on this forum that would lift an eyebrow over buying a black Willis with nickel hardware made in CR. How could you walk away???
"Sell them"? I tell myself that too. But mostly when I'm googly eyeing a new bag and I tell myself I'll sell one so I can buy this new one....ha ha ha! Oh, that's funny. I haven't sold one yet. Good for you if you can go through with selling some, I wish I could! I just love them all so much though.

Found one of my holy grails - a slim zip up tote that fits my laptop and not much more. I’ve never seen one of those before - looks like a slim satchel (plus the middle seam), but with long handles. The dimensions are about 14 x 9. Anyone knows what is it? A catalogue pic would be great. TIA.

House @houseof999 had posted one of these on the ID thread. Love it. There’s a Shopping Large and Shopping Bag Small with a longer height than width. This looks like it is from the same family. I’d love a this or the SBL.

Thank you!! I am ashamed to admit to any but people on this site that I have more, but these are the top handle “sub family”. I can’t bring them all out at once because the hubs might see... I started reading this thread after I bought the green Regina and one thing led to another, and suddenly I have a Court bag heading my way! This site has a way making me want MORE!!!
Still on the wish list: red Regina or Court. Someone on here has a blue Regina that I am coveting.
I’ve never tried the Janice or Patricia or Ranch or Stewardess styles. I have my eye on a Taft bag though, after seeing hers on the blissfully obsessed blog a few months ago. So pretty!

This forum makes me crazy. I've been on a bag ban due to some recent large purchases I made and I logged in here a short while ago just to get my fix and keep up with the chat and now I have a Willis on the way. Another Willis. My 6th Willis! A 1998 Costa Rican black with nickel hardware Willis. What the heck is wrong with me? I have bags stashed all over my house, too. The other day my dad came over to take a look at my bathroom which we're going to re-tile and he opened up the door to a new vanity that I bought but haven't installed yet and a pile of vintage bags fell out. They are my rehab projects that I had to set aside when work got crazy. He just looked at me. Didn't say anything, just gave me the hairy eyeball. I didn't feel guilty though, I put my bags away and just kept talking about the tile I want for my bathroom. I pay my own bills, I bought my own house, I won't be ashamed of my handbags. I pay for them myself! I'm lucky I'm not married though, that might be another story....:P

We are all in good company here! I don’t mind saying, about 3 years ago, I had about 4 vintage Coach bags. I think now I have about 25 to 30, of those maybe 7 or 8 still need rehab. With a bunch of non vintage to round me up to an even 3 dozen. NO apologies  I’m middle aged and finally have a little extra cash to indulge myself in Coach I could not afford in the ‘90s or ‘00s. I put my time in when I was on a super tight budget buying cute $10 to $20 VB and Tignanello bags at thrift shops and keeping them till I ran them them into the ground.
That being said, I am attempting to pump the brakes. I have a super range of colors and styles (you gals out there got some collections to die for, you know who you are;) and good for you) for me. But always room for something in burgundy or a fab color or a larger Gramercy or Madison .
I really didn’t need another Plaza or BT, but hey, bags happen! If I can only stay off eBay. I always manage to find something . . .

Looks like station_85 is selling one of the shopping bags now. The color is a gorgeous red, but the zipper separated and is probably beyond saving. I know that seller is not recommended here, but that bag seems legit.

Thanks, but I just can’t get behind a seller who doesn’t respond to requests for a Creed shot. I emailed a few years ago for a Creed pic and got no response.

Omg I am trying to get my toddler back asleep in his bed and I almost laughed out loud. :giggle:

My husband neglected to get me a present for my birthday, so I bought Sea foam Regina a friend to play with, Green Regina! (hard to see color in 1st photo) . In beautiful condition, authenticated and from a seller right here in Michigan. All I have to do is glue the hang tag back together. Can you tell I like top handle bags? View attachment 4519100

Seriously, how COULD you have walked away from that? I'm on self imposed ban right now because I went a little nuts. Promised Hubs if I bought this Stewardess I have on the way I would give it a rest. She's in excellent condition made in usa 1999!

Happy Birthday! You have a beautiful vintage collection! I love the greens. I'm reading backwards & saw your other post that you want a red Regina. I agree, that will be a gorgeous addition to your collection. I want a red one someday too. Regina is such a sweet looking small bag. I find it so adorable.

That could be me, it's nice to be around like minded people.
Since everyone is confessing here goes mine.I went on a buying bender this weekend I think I got my Sheridan obsession out of my system now.A Glenwood, one Mayfield and a Monticello.
Thing is all three together didn't cost a third of what I would have to pay for a new one (I'm talking to you little blue Cassie):P
I really did need something in the water repellent line, four weeks of nothing but rain and the alligators swimming down the roads entitles a girl to some distraction

My bag confession are two Disney Harvey seatbelt bags off eBay. First was the Little Mermaid 30th anniversary bag that I somehow missed while in the flipping parks. Then was the 50th anniversary Haunted Mansion bag for way more than I should have paid BUT it had the ghost dancers and the dueling portrait ghosts. How could I resist?

I'm looking at these Legacy styles more and more. By the way, I love your avatar! What style is that please?
Thank you! It is the part of the Legacy 65th anniversary collection, Style #10325, I think it is called the Ali Hippie? It has the pretty 65th anniversary striped lining, and the hardware is so heavy and chunky, I love the way it looks. This was my HG bag, and its in perfect condition. But it turns out I don't carry it much, the crossbody is a little short for me (I'm 5' 10" and not thin). And it doesn't sit right when worn over the shoulder. But I still think its beautiful and I pet it occasionally :P. I went crazy for the Legacy styles about 5 years ago, but now I seem to be retreating further into the past with the older styles. I love the Monticello. Were you the person who bought the black on black one? That is super sharp. I had an Olive green with tan piping bag from the Sheridan collection once when they were originally released. I think I sold it at a garage sale. :yucky:

Nope, my Monticello is blue with brown, the Mayfield black and brown both of those where never listed as Sheridans I dug them out of the vintage pages, lucky for me listed Sheridans usually go for more, there is a blue-brown Monticello over there for 125.00$ that is not as nice and has a missing hangtag. The Glenwood popped up as I was fixing to get out of there, the price was just to good and I caved.Lovely cream and brown. No guilt what so ever.I slept like a baby last night.

What is the difference between the classic shoulder bag and Patricia's Legacy? Is it just the top zipper?
And then the stewardess is the one with the turn lock and feet? That leaves the Ranch (no feet), Janice (no flap), Prairie and Plaza (half flaps). There seems to be a Legacy small flap ( 9965) Is there a large flap too?
There seem to be several bags that all have flaps, all have buckle on straps, are similar size, and made over similar times. Its overwhelming! I'm making an excel spreadsheet to keep them straight! Once school starts I won't have time to do this anymore, and I'll forget everything by Christmas break.
