They go for less than a Musette as they are easier to find and not as coveted by collectors. I have a Carrier just like this listing. I use mine pretty frequently as a briefcase.

Rust and British tan are very close, with rust being a little redder and richer. Ink is a really dark blue that everyone thought was black, so if you already have black, you probably don't need it. It also came in putty, which might be the yellow you saw. The duffle came in a few brighter colors. This picture shows the wine, rust and British tan side by side. bleecker color comparison075.jpg

Here is my new love! It is pre-creed with a metal tag and no lining. I think I can safely say it was designed by Bonnie Cashin since she did a similar style for Myers. I only remember seeing one like this before. It is about 11 inches wide and 8 1/2 inches tall. It is in really good condition. If you know anything more about it I'd love to know.bonnie bag084.jpg

I found this one in persimmon and was wondering if 11419 came in that color as well? Maybe this is rust and they are calling it persimmon? Wdyt?

That is a brighter color than rust. Really pretty. I had that color in a similar style. I think it was called vermillion. This particular one was made for discount stores and the leather might not be the same. Note the creed doesn't mention burnishing. I don't think they made the large flap in this color.

Sooo.. guess what. I was bad. Very bad! I couldn't resist and bought two more kiss lock slim totes! I got a brown one and a black one. Since I already have a special DIY dye fail in tan I don't think I need another tan one. So unless I discover the tote came in another color I think I just completed my slim totes collection!! [emoji119]

No one outbid me during the last 10 min of the auction. I seriously thought I was going to since I wasn't willing to pay a lot more than 70. Actually starting bid was $64 and my max bid was $66 [emoji23][emoji23]. See? I had it set so easily beatable so anyone could take it. But no one did. The seller emailed to say it was meant to be mine and there were 20 people watching this.
