Red Sonoma small full flap 4929. I don't need 2. Needs authenticating. $50 with free shipping!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/291474390819

ETA: Ooh! It's Italian! Mine's American! Maybe I do need 2 afterall... :thinkin:

I think you need it for research. We need someone to compare the same style to determine if there is a difference between American and Italian red Sonomas. Then you need to find one made in Costa Rica.

Thanks! Seller accepted my offer of $40! :happydance:

Gorgeous colour and the leather looks awesome! How big is it?
Thank you! If they had made more colors, I would have gotten another one.
It's about 14 1/2 inches tall and wide. These are the other styles I didn't get:

Mine has cloth lining. I wish I had gotten one with leather or suede but the Krush hobo wasn't available at the time and the RDK was too big for me.

It's hard to believe that the same person who designed the 2006 Legacy collection with all the turnlocks and kisslocks designed these streamlined bags.

The deals aren't as good now as they were when I got mine. I'm glad I got at least one bag before they're all gone. It's a shame he's going out of business, but no matter how nice they are, they were always out of my price range until now.

It's a Pony Express Pouch, style 9670 from the late 70s-early 80s.

The seller's measurememnts seem too generous though, Coach lists them as 11x8x3 inches.
The bag I bought is a Swag bag, Hyacinth so much larger than a Pony Express. I cannot find a photo of one in any of the catalogs I have. There are some photos out on Pinterest though. It is/was one of my dream bags and I am thrilled to have found one under $500.00. The bag is being shipped tomorrow and it located only about an hour from where I live. :-)

Shhh

J/K. Even in that condition I know it's going to blow up in price. Funny how that happens. I think I started the big Musette kick around here.
I'm one of the few on here who doesn't want a Musette or a Carrier. I think they are too big for me. I really like the look of the Pony Express but maybe it is too small. Do you remember the 2012 Legacy bag that looked like it? That one was really small. I can't remember the name and I don't know if it had the same measurements.

There have been two newer versions of the Pony Express style. One of them was called an Amanda Flap # 19925 and it was really small, maybe only about 8 or 9 inches across, first picture.

And there was a gorgeous Bleeker Street Limited Edition # 12805 that was bigger AND had the Legacy Stripe lining, I've never seen any trustworthy measurements for it though. And they're almost impossible to find. Second picture

Oooookay, I think Tetondeb had pictures of the Swag Bag on her blog. I completely missed the top handle in the listing photos.

Lucky you to have actually found one! :smile1:
