Oh, Joodlz, so sorry for your loss, take care. I just lost my dad and it doesn't seem real yet.
Oh my...I'm sorry for your loss too! Nothing seems real, right? I'll be thinking of you too

I'm hoping the price will come down if it doesn't sell. It would be worth having an extra rivet added.
These bags sure had trouble with rivets! I have the 2 rivet version and one of those was broken. I wonder if it was more than just a design flaw, but also that the quality of the rivets was sub par.My brown one of this era only has one rivet and it has pulled out. It was disclosed in the auction and running both ends through the buckle worked til I had it repaired. Just FYI.
I just received one that I won a while ago and the rivet has pulled through (not disclosed in the listing). I think the issue is that it's on the seam as the rivet is intact. Major design flaw and such a pity as the style is so cool. I haven't decided how to tackle it yet.My brown one of this era only has one rivet and it has pulled out. eBay made "improvements" lately so that may be why you are having problems. I am not thrilled with the "improvements" and have told them but they do not seem to care much.Sorry I'm asking about ebay stuff but I am trying to watch vintage Coach and that's why I am asking here, thanks

I'm shutting down now~PITA weather...catch y'all soon!!
It's from the early 90s. It's a very nice style. Being black, it should be easy to rehab, I think. The seller has it priced like the rest of her non-Coach bags. Maybe she doesn't realize that Coach bags usually go for more. I'm surprised no one has bought it already.Very good price! Why is this soo cheap!?! I know you can't see the serial number number how old do you think this is? Do you think this will clean up well? Thanks!!
Thanks ledobe. As you say it's not very obvious.I took mine to a luggage repair shop and he put in a largish, rather unattractive rivet, but it's not really where you can see it so it doesn't bother me. Here is a link to mine, you can't see it in this picture but that's the point I think...

I'd promise I'd take a picture of the rivet when I get home, but I know I'm going to have to work late, and I have to catch an early flight tomorrow so I probably won't have time to do it even if I remember. However, whatever you can find that works probably will be covered by the strap on the outside and kind of covered by the zipper on the inside and it's such an awesome bag!
ooooooh..prettypretty!!Just in case there are people here who don't follow the rehab thread. Here is my NYC sage small pouch I just finished.
It's hard to report an item as fake if you can't see it!This is the winner of the "Photographer of the Year"..I'm not that pissed yet..I seriously only had like 2 sips of Vino, but I feel dizzy..haha!!
