My putty Madison was one of my very early rehabs...April of 2012. Gosh, what I've learned since then :) I really should revisit this one and see if I can improve her spots. Here are the links...the second one might be of interest to the Madison owners here.

Oh yeah, that putty is pretty, and the RED Basic Bag is awesome. So jealous!

I remember the post about the cardboard. Good idea. I'll see if mine needs it after she's done.

We'll ok then I believe you are correct and I changed the listing. Thank you for all your help in this I will look at other thread and the four other bags are authentic it was just this one. Love this forum such great information.😄👜👝👛💗

I'm VERY concerned about a couple of things. Not only haven't you had this or your other Coach bags authenticated, but you said that you "changed the listing" for a bag that's been positively identified as fake.

FAKES CAN'T BE SOLD AT EBAY OR ANYWHERE ELSE NO MATTER HOW YOU LIST THEM, EVEN IF YOU SAY UP FRONT THAT IT'S FAKE. Selling fakes on Ebay is not only against Ebay rules but against US law. "Changing" the listing doesn't make the item legal. The listing has to be removed completely and permanently. It's the fact that a fake violates a valid copyright that makes it illegal, not whether or not you claim that it's real.

The other Coach you asked about has also been faked often and needs to be authenticated at the Authenticate This Coach thread with the pictures specified in post number One of that thread. If you're listing Coach bags especially older ones without having them authenticated here, you could be making a VERY expensive mistake. NOTHING SOME COACH "REP (and the phone reps DON'T work for Coach and DON'T have any idea what's real and what's fake!) can tell you over the phone can ever prove a Coach bag is genuine.

Just finished rehabbing this baby. Just a simple dunk for shape. Logan in British Tan (I think).

I love the way you stage your bags!

thanks for the imput but when i spoke to the service center they said bags in early 80's did not have tho 0 and the other bags were all from 1988-1999 they where all original so we found it odd that this ONE would not be. thanks check out this one please View attachment 2709299

Hipchick, please either post here to Identify Style numbers and names:
http://forum.purseblog.com/coach/id-coach-item-post-any-coach-item-name-355205.html

or here to Authenticate the Coach bags you have for sale:

Fair warning: You stand a very good chance of being reported to eBay if you post fake bags for sale. As has been clearly stated, Coach service reps cannot authenticate a Coach bag and TPF is the best place I know of for that.

OMG! This is not my idea of 'Fair Condition'. Looks like dry rot to me.

Holy c**p...I'd call it BEWARE condition!!!

My GW's have been a little dry lately...and I've been much more selective with my buying, but yesterday I was absolutely thrilled to find a 1993 Becket Zip #9920 hiding in the canvas/plastic tote bags. Very clean with unique strap attachment...and the strap narrows to the shoulder. Somebody in the pricing department really goofed (thank you very much!) with a $14.99 tag on this beauty...no major rehab required...YAY!
