Hi! I just joined the forum after getting hopelessly sucked down the vintage Coach rabbit hole. I am excited to share in the fun of this hobby with you lovely folks :] I'm a big fan of small purses so the Winnie was quick to rise to the top of my favorites list. What's your favorite small vintage coach bag?
collegiate.
I agree with @whateve - the collegiate has been my #1 for a while now. Honourable mention goes to the Emmie though, I think she’s an adorable little cube!
Another vote for the collegiate! Though I also recommend the Devon!
I've haven't seen a Collegiate or Emmie yet, but LOVE the Geometric Clutch 9044!
The collegiate is a great choice, also how about the Regina? The Regina has more of a square profile so if you're like me and pretty short it sits nicely on the body.
A big thank you to everyone who has shared their favorite small vintage Coach style(s)! What a nice welcome to joining the forum :]

Those are some terrific small Coach bags but I also have to throw in a vote for some of the vintage Italian Madison Coach bags like the Carlyle 4401; now that's a great small bag and it holds a lot IMO!

Continuing the discussion about great small bags, I have to mention Rambler's Legacy. I love this little bag for many reasons. It isn't super tiny so it holds what I need. It has useful pockets, including a back pocket and a gusseted one under the flap. It doesn't get bulgy when you fill it up. It keeps its shape when you carry it. It is cute to look at. It has a wider comfortable strap.

Agreed! I thought of the little Rambler too! I have 2 in black, one nickel hardware and one brass and tomato-fire engine red .

The Rambler's Legacy is my 'everyday' bag. So comfortable, nice wide strap and I also like the pockets for convenience!

Hello all! I am totally new to the forum, and lost a full night’s sleep just perusing all the information here. I’m a vintage lover and have quite a few Coach bags picked up from estate sales and thrift stores. I had NO idea how prevalent fake vintage Coaches were until flipping through the Authenticate this Coach thread.

I do sell some of the bags I find, is there an authentication service with certificate that you would trust to use (paid) before listing a bag for sale. I’ve seen that Entrupy is rubbish, what about ******************? I don’t mind paying to authenticate bags I’m going to sell.

Admittedly, most of the Coaches stay in my personal collection. I’m wondering how many bags I can post in the authentication thread without being pesky. I definitely don’t want to take advantage of the authenticators. I got my first Coach bag new for high school graduation about 17 years ago (counting down ‘til it’s vintage), and started collecting vintage bags after that.

Wow, I thought I was good at spotting fake bags, but now I realize the error of my ways.

The women on AT are honest and straightforward. I believe on occasion they have given a limit of requests per day, and it may be in directions pinned to the top of the page. One of our members here had a huge haul after an estate sale and they worked with her … Go ahead and ask if it’s not stated! They are willing to help anyone sincere in their desire to keep fakes out from being sold as Coach. And
:welcome:
