The interesting thing is that the number on both bags start with F5D. Could this type of grommet be specific to that code? (Maybe a factory error?)

You're welcome! That's interesting. I authenticated a bag the other day with those grommets. I'll have to see if I can find that to see if it has the same prefix.
Ugh how did I miss this? I have been trolling Poshmark for the last few days looking for new rehabs and never saw this. I’d take my chances for $6 lol. Hope it gets posted here so we can see!
You are lucky that you missed it because @whateve says that it looks fake! Even if it's only $6 I wouldn't want to do a lot of work rehabbing a fake!

I agree with Whateve, if anyone here bought it they need to authenticate it ASAP. There's a problem visible right in the photo. Maybe several problems.
And if anyone knows where it was listed, please post whatever information you have.

don't waste your time rehabbing it, and DON'T sell it. When you get it, please take a readable pic of the creed stamp and serial number and post it either here or in the Authenticate This Coach thread in the Coach Shopping forum.
Not only is the shape of the padding in the leather tab above the turnlock very wrong, but if it's trying to be a Prairie Bag, which is the only style I've found so far with a shape and details that fit (and that's just a guess because the seller couldn't even be bothered to photograph the creed and serial number!), there's another problem besides just the turnlock tab. Take a look at the base of the bag in the listing.
If anyone can suggest a different genuine style that it might be, please let me know.
There's probably a very good reason that bag sold for only 6 dollars.

Look what came in the mail!!! I found a BT 4020 & pulled the trigger because I’ve had no luck finding a black one lol. I really like it! It’s such a cute size & the leather is as thick as my collegiate despite it being a lightweights bag
