Probably my best find was a tan, pre-creed Bonnie Cashin Small Shopper for $2.06 at the thrift store. I love that little bag because it is just so special. It's an early Cashin coach with the striped lining but it is small, so I might prefer @whateve's double pocket bag, that's gorgeous!

There are more pictures of my Cashin bag here:
Your small shopper is incredible find. Agree with you @whateve ‘s mystery style bag would be my choice too.
You have some of the best rehabs I’ve seen! If I bought a bag from you, I wouldn’t re-dunk it… & I like to re-dunk EVERYTHING
Thank you.
ETA: I am very lazy with polishing hardwares.
ETA: Anyone know who started the basic restoration process we are all using here? So far it seems all points to @katev.

I also hate polishing hardware. I have a pile here that I left soaking in vinegar and baking soda for 2 days bc too lazy to complete. Also pretty busy I suppose. The gunk will come off it easily now!

@katev was the one who got me started. She used to make threads about her rehabs. They inspired me to look at vintage just so I could try rehabbing. The first several bags I bought didn't need rehabbing so I didn't dunk until I had started a vintage collection.

ETA: There was a rehabber in the Hermes forum who may have done similar rehabs before the Coach rehab thread was created. Her name is @docride

(my first post/comment ever after lurking for a year or so) My crazy best vintage Coach find... about 10 years ago, a brown Willis for $10 at Goodwill... As soon as I touched it, I was like "Ohhhh! Thats what all the Coach hype is about!" And I can never go back...
It didn't end up being something that really worked for me, so I gifted it to my niece, telling her, "just don't sell it!" Now, I would give her my blessing to sell it if she wanted to, because she could get some good money for it! It was just that beautiful...
Now I have a black Station (thrifted) a (2016 I think?) Rambler, a 75th Anniversary Dinky in the most gorgeous red with pewter hardware, all started by that incredible Willis....
(edit, the Rambler is from 2020 I think...)

I would pick the Winnie, Musette seems massive to me!

OMG, now Im thinking red derby!!!!

Some of my best finds (priced in USD):
1) Red Winnie for $149
2) Dinky tote for $38
3) Olive pocket purse for $50

Ok I think I failed the assignment cause I remembered my best find was an $11 lunchbox thrifting… but I didn’t keep it so does it still count? Lol

This would definitely be my pick! I've been looking for one of these for awhile. Lost out on one that was selling for $40:crybaby: I've been looking for one under $100 since then! Course, I can't afford to buy it right now, but I can still dream about it!
