Thank you for saying that. Yes, some brands are very pricey. I certainly wouldn’t criticize anyone owning those bag for being braggarts. Lol! I’ve heard from a bunch of friends who think the whole things is ridiculous. They have messaged me saying NOBODY chooses their friends and that there was no call for this attack. The person instigating it has a whole madeup scenario in his bizarre mind. None of the information is correct but it’s a waste of time to reason with an unreasonable person. It’s been enlightening to see the true colors of some of these people. I just want to talk handbags for Pete’s sake! I appreciate all the support I’ve received here.

Just what I like to call small people, just jealous. Don’t worry, this kind of thing makes me want to post even more bags! Or should I say BRAG bags! I heard from another friend who was appalled by what they were saying. She said it reminded her of grade school. Glad you’re enjoying my bags! I like to look at everyone’s collections!

So besides the Willis that we all know you love, what is your next favorite style? And which styles do you think are the best in terms of carrying (capacity, balance, comfortability etc)?

Those are tough questions. Hard to say because some styles aren’t as practical for capacity reasons but I love the style enough to buy multiple colors. My favorite styles have top handles and crossbody straps for versatility. I love the large Plaza and Manors because they have a top handle. I usually switch out the longer strap for one of my Willis crossbody straps on the Plaza bags since the strap is shorter. I love the large Chester 9901 if I’m not carrying too much. For larger capacity, I love the Rogue 30. I prefer to carry it by the short handles but it is nice to be able to link the two shoulder straps to make it long enough for crossbody. I guess I don’t have one next favorite bag! Lol!

I carried my Court on my outlet trip yesterday for about five hours and both of my shoulders are really aching. I was going to carry a recent bag or the Casino but I wanted to show the Court to my friend.

I carried my Court on my outlet trip yesterday for about five hours and both of my shoulders are really aching. I was going to carry a recent bag or the Casino but I wanted to show the Court to my friend.

I ask myself the same thing. I have pretty good upper body strength from working out but a vintage bag will always cause my shoulders/neck/back to ache after a few hours. The worst culprit is the Willis for me. I find myself switching to handle carrying it even on a quick errand run. Ive found shoulder pads help immensely. Lunasilver was kind enough to make me a few & I noticed a huge difference right away. When I use them, I don’t get tension headaches. Another option would be a nice thick guitar style strap. I want one from Coach but they never make anything that matches the vintage bags well. I would recommend if your bags feel too heavy, use a thicker strap if possible or downsize. Use a card case instead of a wallet, don’t carry anything you don’t really need (ex. I don’t carry my epipens unless Im going out to eat which hasn’t happened since covid started). There really isn’t much else you can do except deal with the weight. These bags are so pretty but so heavy- it’s a double edged sword lmao

I have sold several due to the weight - like the Plaza bag. I recently got a court but I haven't carried it on a long trip yet. A lot of my bigger vintage bags have wider straps, like the kind on Rambler's Legacy. TBH, almost all my bags will hurt my shoulder if carried for a long time. I always have trouble finding the right bag to take on a trip when I know I'm going to be walking for a long time.
