Yes, while looking through my files yesterday for ads I found a few other old ones. (who else here remembers the 10 percent Federal excise tax on what were considered "luxury goods" back then? :amazed: )

These are supposed to be from 1958. Hope they enlarge OK. Several of the Womens' wallets are really pretty.

I'm a 1957 vintage, and would LOVE to find that Summer Garden wallet in blue.

So it's not in a catalog but this is different bag in Camel ? Making sure I understand..Mine is really nice and bright still, I think used very little. Now I have to find a hangtag for it. Thanks so much !
Yes, I can't find a catalog pic of your bag, but I believe it belongs to this line, or as I call it, family lol of bags. There were a bunch of bags made with the same top stitching design, called "Bleeker -fill in the blank" , with style numbers that began with 930- and 931-. This was the late '90s. An easy way to tell is look at the bottom border of you back pack and the bags in the catalog pic, if you can enlarge it, and you will see what I mean. Coach had already come out with other lines, as you probably know, like Madison, Dakota etc. So I believe your bag belongs to this grouping and the catalog pic of camel does not do your bag justice, although I took those pics on the fly. I posted mine somewhere. I picked it up for $5 at a flea market, mainly to see if I could remove a big water stain. I couldn't bring back the color though.

I was born in 1943, well before Coach started in business. When my son was about 5 or 6 he asked me whether there was electricity when I was young!
lol! I'm glad there is someone here older than me! Coach started in 1941, so you could potentially find something made when you were born, but you would never know since they weren't clearly labeled. I'm too old for Bonnie Cashin, so I've never tried to find anything from my birth year, but I have tried to remember the bags I bought when I first started working, and get another. The only picture I have is so blurry I can't tell what style it is. I suspect I had a long handled skinny flight bag. I got one a few years ago but didn't hang onto it.

How silly of me. Of course I knew that Coach started in 1942! Oh well, just another senior moment.
