Still waiting for my Bal. Seller had thought she had opted for the site shipping kit and was waiting for it to arrive..they said she didnt in an email 3 days later...she hoped she would get it sent yesterday sat so might get it Monday or Tues.
I had been expecting an email from the site asking if I wanted to ge the bag authenticated thru them...but never received one. Wonder if the site has taged me as getting authentication before sale thru other means and now not bother.

I hate how Ebay marks an item shipped as long as a label is printed. It bothers me to check tracking and only have it say “a tracking number was provided”. It should only say shipped when the items been dropped at the post...Don’t play with my heart like that Ebay! Lol
YES!
AND the minute the seller marks it shipped you cannot stop the transaction...even if it CLEARLY isn't shipped at 5am...
:annoyed:

It marks as shipped the minute the seller buys the postage, whether or not she ships it then. I usually print my labels and pay for them the night before I ship out. I wouldn't want a buyer to cancel once I had already paid for the postage. However, I have cancelled transactions upon the buyer request even after I had paid for postage as long as it hadn't been picked up by USPS yet. I wouldn't want a buyer to be unhappy.

What brand? Curious minds want to know.
Oh, I was bad. I bought a second hand Hermes Evelyne PM in what I believe is barenia leather. What color it is is a mystery. I thought it was ebene based on pics, but the more I looked at other sources, it might be vert olive. Barenia is rare, but the bag is from 2003 and doesn’t have the adjustable strap (plus it was mislabeled as Chamonix leather) so people weren’t swooping in. Price was fair considering the leathers and condition. Almost got a white clemence one dirt cheap in need of cleaning, but you can’t get clemence wet So I wouldn’t know where to begin Other than a trip to KOP mall and a spa bill that likely cost more than the bag.

About your postage post, do you know if you do click n ship and don’t use the label you can get a refund after a certain number of days?

Wow, stepping up in the world! From what I know about Evelynes, it should be easy to find a coordinating strap. I don't think I'll ever get a Hermes unless I find one dirt cheap in a thrift store. I hope you'll post it somewhere I'll see it and I'd like to hear your thoughts on how it compares to Coach.

I've never used click n ship but I've been able to get a refund on postage that I've bought through ebay. It takes quite a while though.

Years ago I rushed into getting 2 Kellys and a birkin 35 (all well used) because I wanted the Style and they were “affordable”, but they weren’t necessarily what I wanted, which was dumb to do. Like the birkin, the Kelly 35 was too big and the box calf Kelly 32 was a good size, but shouldn’t have been brown or box tbh. I wanted a bright color in swift or togo, but couldn’t afford it. All 3 were sold. Of the 3, the box calf Leather was the only one I thought was really nice And lux feeling. Half the Hermes forum is about to drop dead when I type this, but I preferred my Dooney florentine (hadn’t met vintage Coach yet) to The clemence of my birkin or my Kelly. TV does not give a good idea of the size of a birkin 35 either, that bag is so big! A 30 or a 25 is all I would ever get but they never crop up “cheap” so I have knock offs made in Florence that are really nice.

I am lead to believe barenia is quite thick and nice so I will happily make a comparison to vintage Coach, assuming it ever ships. I begin To fear the questions I asked tipped the seller off that it was barenia and I will never see it.

As long as no one here minds, I can do a side by side comparison to my Costa Rica gray willis and then it will be both on topic and a display of my new bag.

That would be great! I once did a comparison of a Coach to a Gucci.

Is there a vintage coach bag thats similar to this Baggu leather tote? Im looking for a tote thats medium sized, one main compartment and has long handles - Thanks to anyone who can help me find a specific style!

Barclay tote has a smaller sibling, the name escapes me now, but I am sure someone here will know what I am talking about. It’s a North/South tote with dowels and turnlock closure.

Actually, you can get refunds if labels are printed through ebay and paypal also.

I'm not 100% sure of the time allowances but I believe USPS (click and ship) and ebay allow labels to be canceled within 48 hours of purchasing them. Labels printed through Paypal have (I think) 24 hours after purchase to cancel.

The credit for canceled labels isn't issued for 15 days because USPS wants to verify that voided labels aren't used.

But the timeframe to void a label isn't several days. It's 24-48 hours.

Am I the only one who loves the Tribeca Shopper 9098? I have it in Loden and Toffee (I think). It’s just the perfect size for me. You should try it.
