Maybe no profit at all. The seller got her reason and did that by choice. Years ago when I was still collecting Pandora, saw a bracelet with very nice charms listed at a unbelievable low price on Kijiji. Seems too good to be true but I figured no harm to give it a shot. Turned out the seller was a young girl, the bracelet was a gift from ex boyfriend, she just wanted it gone ASAP.

I agreed with you. I sold my pandora bracelet and charms for next to nothing because I no longer cared for them and I had some really nice charms. Some people just want stuff gone regardless of if they breakeven or not. Ive gotten many good deals in my life and I look at it as “paying it forward”. I think the best deal Ive ever gotten were new authentic uggs for $40. The seller said they were gifted to her and weren’t her size. I was more than happy to take them off her hands! Haha

Red willis on ebay for anyone who may be interested:

Not my listing & needs to be authenticated

That is unreal. After pay for eBay and PayPal fees, pay for the shipping, probably no money left. guess the seller just want the bag gone.
I was thinking that, or maybe she doesn't have to pay for shipping. Maybe she uses her office's shipping service.

I remember the very first thing I ever bought on ebay was a bag that was $75 at Macy's; $35 NWT with free shipping. The seller wrapped it really nice and sent it express! I wondered how she made any profit.

Back them no paypal fees taking 20%, I bet. I used to buy and sell off ebay in the late 90s using/taking money order.

Just a heads-up for anyone looking for a light blue Willis, especially with all that's been discussed here lately;

There's a VERY close fake in that Pool Blue color that many of you are looking for listed at Mercari, please don't bid on it. I didn't post in the Hall Of Shame since I don't know how many posters check there. and because it's a Mercari listing it doesn't do much good to report it to them anyway. But I don't want some tPFer to get stuck with it.

My answer including comp photos and why it's fake are in post 50284 of the Authenticate This Coach thread over in Coach Shopping, please read it before jumping on any light blue Willis, and not just at Mercari. It's possible that the seller has it listed at different sites and maybe under different IDs.

The creed is very badly photographed, color is rubbing off on parts of the bag that shouldn't show so much wear, and it has a D plant code and a 2000 year code, that color wasn't even made in that color in that year.

Be careful, and Happy Shopping!

Damn. I hope it's not one of us.
Sadly, me. I clicked buy in a hurry and then saw your post an later. The seller is being a real jerk to boot. I requested a cancellation and messaged her as to why. At that point the bag wasn’t shipped, but she shipped it an hour after my request and then sent me a snotty reply back that “she shipped it as soon as I paid, she doesn’t deal in fakes and I will have to send it back to her”. I paid about 2 hours before she shipped it. It is probably still sitting in her mailbox or car. She just wants to stick me with it. However I am sending it back and I used Paypal if Mercari gives me a problem. Also have a screen shot of your post To include.

I replied back to her that she shipped well after both my payment and my request, it had failed authentication, it didn’t need to be this difficult, expect it back.
