Sherbourne is here! I suspect he reused the box because

And then this thing fell out at me (plus my scissors broke but that had nothing to do with the bag lol)

Guess the extra $20 was for a bag light?
The bag itself looks MUCH better in person than in his pics. The verdigris is not a new life form.

And the bag other than feeling a little dry with some scratches is fine. It is definitely BT in person versus the blondish color in his pics

If anyone wants more pre rehab pics or if and experts or authenticators want images of this oddity, let me know.
She really is a beautiful little oddity!

I'm not! I don't like the Station's high forehead. Or the top handle that either pulls at the flap and turnlock or flops about when using the shoulder strap. More Stations for the rest of you!
I only have the one and Im selling it as I find the shape and size not convenient . I just cant seem to fit what I want in.

I feel the same way as you both do. I actually have an NYC burgundy station that I’ve never used because it’s too big for me-I prefer a smaller bag and current favorite is a casino. Now to decide whether to keep it or let it go....

I’m not chomping at the bit to get one, but in purple, at the right price, I don’t think I could resist! I would probably cave if I saw one, any color, at a flea market, for $20. Other than beat up to beyond, in black.

Let it go! On eBay. And give me a heads up.
lol I was going to say the same thing about letting me know when you list it... because I will be glad to take it off your hands! But @Morgan_Bellini beat me to it!

I am just a bit nervous, my BT Court washed up with darkened edges.s
That could happen with just conditioning too though, depending on how worn the edges are. I also think there is a chance that the darkness around the turnlock tab and handle is not just patina, but actual dirt. Then again, I have no experience with the psychological aspect of dunking something so $$$.

My only Station is a beat up black one that I got back in November. It is finally finally looking pretty. I had to dunk twice. And so so so much conditioner. Phew.

I'm not looking for a purple one, but if I came across a blue one for a good price, I wouldn't be able to resist! I currently have two: a taupe and a mahogany. I love the look of the Station Bag, but I have to play Tetris to get my things into it!

I think it is dirt around the turnlock tab too. I chose not to dunk my Pony because the leather was so nice and I liked it’s color even though dunking might have evened out some patchy spots. But she was $$$ and NYC and my NYC stewardess started cracking after a wash and then use and I had liberally applied CPR. I would be less hesitant to dunk the Sherbourne had I not had 2 not so great BT dunking experiences. Both my Court and now my Derby came out like stale taffy and, once dry, they remained kind of stiff and hard. No other bag color has done that to me. But they are both from the same era, so it might be their age or just the leather used at that point in time.

Or maybe the stiffness is more down to style than color? My Court is unpleasantly stiff, and it's a black Costa Rican one.
