Do you still go in to work or work from home? I live in a strange reality where it’s like I am on a staycation, but some work filters in. My Netflix queue is dwindling fast.
I keep looking at those pics of the Sherbourne and pondering. I should NOT be buying anything, let alone another bag. I wish ebay was still tax free, it would make it a little better. I don’t mind a $350 bag, but it shouldn’t require much from me for that price and that bag needs a full unscrewing of parts and dunking.
I would pay that for a Pony. I almost got Valv54's BT pony for under $400 but I didn't pull the trigger fast enough and I lost it. I'm not inclined to snooze and lose now because of that. Except now I'm on a stupid bag ban that I actually have to take seriously because I'm worried about my job.

What color was Valv54’s Pony? Mine is saddle...which no English saddle I have ever sat is that color. About a week before I got Ms. Saddle, a mocha Pony was on ebay during my pre work search, but it had had its rivets replaced and they got the buckles on upside down and I knew it would drive me nuts. So I hesitated and missed it. It was in the same price range as the one I got ,which is all orignal. The mocha just would have been less worrisome a color to carry.

I am still going to work and I am very fortunate to still have a job, I know that, but the stress is almost unbearable. I took a leadership position in February and I'm making more money than I've ever made in my life (not that that's saying much in general - truly, it isnt!) but I'm beginning to really feel like it may not be worth it. My anxiety is through the roof. I'm so very hopeful that things will get better though. I'm not a quitter, this will make or break me, but I'm gonna give it everything I've got. I have my own office for the first time in my life and I can carry my vintage bags to work every day and have a safe place to keep them instead of stuffing them in a little metal locker like I was doing before my promotion.
Whoa. I will officially stop whining now.
I don't have anything deep and insightful to say, just wanted to commiserate. I work in hospitality, we felt the repercussions first and will feel them longest. I'm currently on Germany's equivalent to furlough but let's see for how long. I can't dwell on it as I'm worried sick when thinking about it for too long. Hang in there!
Thank you. We went to the national agility trials a few years ago, and I showed his picture to another JRT person and she said he wasn’t groomed properly. Apparently most JRTs with this kind of coat get clipped so they look like a smooth coat. I love the crazy fuzziness, though. He’s actually low maintenance - I just comb him from time to time.
