I rule out navy bags for that reason. I've also only recently taken steps to unlearn the stupid rule of not mixing metals. I wear silver jewelry only, so I never considered bags with brass hardware. That is pretty limiting in the world of vintage Coach though, so I voiced my concerns to my boyfriend who said it's a non-issue, but gave me his gold communion ring regardless so I can get used to it, lol. I then got a bag with brass hardware, found it's indeed a non-issue, and entered the dangerous world of looking at vintage Coach with very limited boundaries. I kept the ring.
Nickel is still my favorite though, and doesn't require nearly as much attention during rehab.
So cute! It's from the early 2000 decade, I forget which one of the top guys at Coach was a Jack Russell owner, but his dogs along with "Moose" from Frasier were big stars in the catalogs from around 1999 to maybe 2002 or 2003. I don't have one with that exact cover but the same photo was also used on what would have been the "inside cover" or Page 1 of one of the Hoilday 2001 catalogs. The bag is the new style Duffle Sac # 9151, catalog keycode SC72.
My rehabbed black Regina and all three together. Black and navy are very hard to tell the difference unless you look at the underside.
Piss me off. I hate that. I would have given that bag a very loving and much appreciated home! I'm sure you would have too.
That is so over priced for the condition. It needs a dunk, but I would not submerge a bag of that price.
No kidding, she could have at least made it look like a $350 bag.
(ETA: I'm just bitter because I didn't get it. And I'm grumpy because it's Sunday night and I dont want to go to work tomorrow.
)I should mention that I paid about the price of the Sherbourne shipped and taxed for my Pony which has its faults, but wasn’t dunked as the leather is so nice and it’s a NYC. Although my Pony lingered for sale for months on several sites and was finally lowered on one. A lucky googling showed the price drop.
But it's vintage Coach for less, so you'd be getting a deal! /s
I actually bought a catalog for the Holidays '98 featuring Eddie from Frasier. And one for the Holidays '99 featuring the same breed modeling dog accessories.
