I've worn mine daily for over 5 years. If you tend to slam your hand against things, like me, you need to check it daily & take to a jeweler periodically for checking the prongs. I have mine checked every 6 months.
As to whether it hangs down your wrist, it depends on the length of the bracelet. My wrist measures 7 1/4-7 1/2 inches & even less depending on my weight! My bracelet is 7 3/4 inches because I don't like my jewelry tight on my wrist. The bracelet does drape but not that much.

My bracelet is 6.51 carats.

I have worn mine for 10 years, with my watch, but have it checked every 6-8 months, too.
TB can suffer from metal fatique (metal stretching) so the stones, prongs and metal should be checked.

Can you actually see the metal stretching or does it occur without your realizing?

I wear mine everyday. Had it for almost 5 years. So far, no problems, but like the others said, you do need to check that the prongs are secure every once in a while, especially if the bracelet gets caught on clothes, sweaters, etc.

The Victoria bracelet is absoluely gorgeous, btw!

This bracelet is gorgeous but will require regular maintenance as others have already said.

Wether it's a good choice for an everyday bracelet will depend on your lifestyle: are you very active? Do you have young children? Are you prone to banging your wrist on things..?

I've worn my TB everyday for about 12 years or so, it's about the size of the lovely one you have pictured. I have it cleaned and checked out from time to time (but not as much as I should!) it's a workhorse item.

By wearing daily, do you ladies mean 24/7 without removing it? Or do you take it off & put it on daily? I haven't been wearing mine "daily" since I find it a hassle to put on/off on a daily basis & also afraid it will get snagged on to something or loose stones..

I wear mine 24/7. Probably not the best thing to do actually, as does snag on clothes/towels/bedsheets sometimes, but i find it a hassel to remove it and put it back on everyday. However, i got mine really cheap years ago, and the tcw is pretty small, so my heart won't exactly break if something happens to it. I'm sure i'll be a! lot more careful with it if it is the Victoria bracelet! :laugh:
