It moves around but will stay for a bit if you move it to the top of your wrist.

Thanks for your answer! Can you tell me whether the bracelet feels nice on the wrist?

Ugh, I have a really hard time deciding between the Rainbow Love, the 10 diamond Love and the Victoria.

I do love the elegance and the "bling factor" of the Victoria but wonder if I might get more use out of another Love? The Love bracelets are just so comfortable and easy and "worry-free" to wear.

The bracelet is gorgeous, but I agree that you can go to a good jeweler and have it made for much less. I love Tiffany, but I can have 3 bracelets for the price of one and honestly, no one will even know.

That said, I wear a tennis bracelet every day. It's insured, so I don't panic, but I lost one years ago when the clasp must have opened and it fell off. I learned my lesson and insure all my jewelry now. You should have all your jewelry check yearly for loose stones and broken prongs.

I totally agree with you, but my only concern is that a different jeweller may not get it right and then I'm stuck with the bracelet.

Insurance is another problem, in our country we don't have separate jewellery insurances... up to a certain amount it is covered by the home owners insurance, but I'm not sure if it covers that much.

When I do custom, they send me the mock up of the piece to approve. I have to say that it's pretty amazing what they can do. You shouldn't get stuck with something totally wrong. You can also request to approve the stones. It's awful that you can't get an independant jewelry rider on your homeowners. I would never wear my jewelry without it! I'm so scared of losing something.

So am I! The insurance I have does cover loss in cases of fire, bulglary, etc. but not when I lose or damage something. And even with fire and bulglarly, the amount of compensation is limited. This is also one reason why I wonder if a tennis bracelet is really the right bracelet for me. The Love bracelets are screwed on the wrist, so it's hard to lose them.

Tennis bracelets are delicate and tend to catch. It's the only piece of jewelry I've had that just fell off and was lost. I'm still devastated about it and it was years ago, bc gold and diamonds went up so much in price. My husband had gotten that bracelet for so cheap.

Oh no! This is what I'm worried about... and I don't want to lose so much money! It's devastating enough to lose something you love, but if you can't easily replace it, it is even harder.

Tiffany will put a safety chain on it for you for free.

If you're very particular then I'd go with TIffany's - mine is beautifully made and so pretty! Yes it could be duplicated, just like their rings can be... I don't know. I think it's so so pretty and worth the money but for $17,000 I'd have it insured FOR SURE if you can!

Yes it would be easier to damage and lose than a love. Those things seem pretty indestructible! (unless you have a bum version of the new screw system that is! there seem to be some "lemons" out there!)

But then again I don't know why you'd buy a second of one bracelet when you can have one of each! It's a totally different look and I would want to have both if I could! (LOL well I do have both I guess! :) And am happy I do!!)

She speaks the truth! :p:cool:

I would get the Victoria because I love bling, but I have to admit Cartier with diamonds is pretty amazing too. I'm obsessed with the pave diamond Love but that is out of my price range.

As for a fake/copy Tiffany - that is not for me. I don't get why that is different from fake VCA or a fake Chanel bag. Just get another style of tennis bracelet or buy second hand. And I would worry going custom. Way too stressful for me.

You all have some good points! Surfergirljen, do you have any pictures of your Victoria bracelet? :)

What is annoying, though, is that it is so much more expensive in Europe. Here, it costs nearly $22,000 (€15,700). Ugh... that's unfair!!

I have to agree :)

I'd really like to get the Victoria bracelet, but insurance is a bit of a problem. The insurance won't cover any loss which is due to loss (without theft) or breakage. So I would pay for that myself...

Would you still recommend getting the Victoria despite this "problem"?
