I dont know if you heard but Pleated Tote and Villager will be released in some selected new patterns on November 7.
These patterns: Canterberry Magenta, Venetian Paisley, Heather, Plum Crazy and Midnight Blues
I imagine they would go quickly so if you want you should maybe pre-order with your store.

I think the colors and patterns are really pretty. I think of VB as the macaroni and cheese of handbags. Cozy and comfy. Not glamorous or out to impress. Very midwestern that way. (I don't mean that disparagingly. I love and live in the midwest.)

So the Mandy in Canterburry Cobal has been sold out. The store told me new shipment will come sometimes end of November, beginnig of December.
So I got Mandy in Heather with intent to perhaps get the Canterbury cobalt later. I still want it.
They let me combine the Bday coupon with the other bright rewards coupoon promo they have going on. So I got extra 15% off on top of 40%.
I am not a fan. They were huge back when I was a freshman in high school. Everyone used them as backpacks, all the cool girls. I never had one though, I like more simple items then the crazy patterns. I do think they are great quality because people hold onto them for years.
I love Vera.
With that said, I love it for the bigger totes/luggage/makeup bags... stuff I don't carry a lot. If you use a Vera every single day (as I have in the past) it will get worn quickly. The straps, obviously a lot quicker, because it is cloth.
I love that they are awesome because of the washing capabilities. I have a ton, tons of patterns as well. I do love them, but they don't last for years and years.

^ I beg to differ. My Vera Bradley Diaper bag that I use as an occasional laptop/overnight bag has lasted 8 years now, color looks great (only washed once), a couple of stains but the pattern hides them well. I still get compliments on it and hardly and wear and tear
Not sure why peeps are crazy about them. The stores are always busy. Not a fan of the pattern ones at all as I find the pattern unappealing. They are good for running errand or grocery shopping. I like the hipster, comfy and clings to your body and adjustable straps are perfect. I only get the microfiber solid color ones as I dislike the crazy look of patterns, kinda like Laura Ashley or Anne of Green Gables style.

I agree with this. I have used a Vera Bradley diaper bag for 3 years now almost daily. It has went thru a lot and has carried a lot. Wipes, diapers, creams, and much more. Now it's mainly used for toys and clothes for the babysitter. It can b squeezed into the tightest spots if need be...nice too because it stays where u put it and if placed next to baby its soft. Funny thing is that it still looks good as new! No fraying. I can't imagine any other diaper bag...it's a trooper.
I just found out tonight, they brought the Pleated Tote back, its released November 7th!!!! This is my favorite tote as well...
I adore Vera Bradley! I like them because the patterns are so bright and fun and they are so lightweight. Currently I carry the Lizzie in Midnight Blues. I like how I can wear it crossbody or just over the shoulder. I also love my Clare in Happy Snails. The cheerful colors always make me smile ... even when it's a freezing winter day in New England! Plus, it's a nice change from my heavier leather and canvas bags.
