I love VB's Miller Bags - I used one in Purple Punch as my pool bag last summer, my Lemon Parfait bag is usually a weekender bag, and my Folkloric and Plum Petals ones are my knitting bags. I have a Get Carried Away tote in Bali Blue and a Pleated tote in Watercolor, also used as knitting bags, but I still prefer the Miller bags because they zip all of the way shut.

I'm debating getting an On-The-Go in the Caterbury Cobalt with my birthday coupon-- I love the black and gray with the pop of bright blue.
I am also a fan of Vera but do not carry their purses. I have a diaper bag that I use as an overnight bag/laptop carrier that has lasted very well over the years and also one of their cosmetics bags. A VB store opened in the mall by me and one of my best friends became a huge VB fan because I dragged her in there. She gets a new VB purse and matching wallet each year (wears them out completely). I also think they make great gifts - bought my mom a travel bag for Mother's day!
I sort of have a love / hate. I do love the look of some of them and think they make awesome stylist diaper bags. I do love some of there smaller goods and wallets, really great to bang around in. I just cannot bring myself to carry it around as a purse, it is cool but at the same time they do have something that is old ladyish about them. This does not stop me from going inside to check out the stand alone boutiques though. They have some patterns that I just love and some patterns that just really kinda hurts my eyes. LOL.
I pulled out my black microfiber convertible tote today and remembered how much I love it. It is a nice crossbody style that holds quite a bit without being bulky or heavy. I have lots of nice bags, but this is one of my favorites.
if you dont mind me asking, how much is the coupon for? How long before your birthday did you receive it?
My birthday is this week and I was also thinking to get Canterburry cobalt but I never recieved a coupon. I called CS and was told that the actual VB store sends out the coupons and I still should wait.
Wonder if I call my store they would honor the discount anyway.
But just wondering if it is worthy, because I heard different info about how much the coupon is actually for. Some say $25, some 20% and somewhere I saw it is 40%.
I love Vera Bradley, I have for a long time! I bought a new pattern every season for years! My all time favorite was Mocha Rouge! My go to work bag is my Vera in Mocha Rouge. I also loved the Pleated Tote and I was so disappointed when it was discontinued. I have yet to find a VB bag that I love as much as the Pleated Tote. I haven't bought anything VB until yesterday, I got 2 coffee mugs! One in Jazzy Blooms and one in Go Wild. I also love the Kiss lock wallet, I have that in Go Wild too! Hopefully something similar to the Pleated Tote will come out and I will be a happy girl!
My birthday is at the end of October and I received my coupon this past Saturday. It's for 40% off one item in-store or online, or 20% off your entire purchase at a Vera Bradley outlet store. Last year. I think my birthday coupon was for $20 off a purchase of $20 or more.
