Vera Bradley fans?

They are crazy with those retirements.
I dont get why they do all that efford to design and marketing new patterns and then retire them after couple of months.
Like Flutterby, just came on...
They have a new business model like Coach. Like not introducing new patterns, not keeping a lot at once and they're introducing a leather line that is prices like Coach but IMO looks like Kate Spade

I haven't bought anything from Vera Bradley in quite a while but about a year or two ago, I went on a Vera Bradley binge and bought a lot of stuff. I do seem to use more of the "travel" type items (i.e., cosmetic case, etc.) than the purses. My favorite piece is my large tote - I think it's called the Miller bag - it's great for short trips and I have it in the Twirly Birds navy blue pattern. I also really love my Laura purse in the Canyon. My favorite patterns are Happy Snails (have lot in this one - umbrella, hipster, wallet, keychain, etc.) and Canyon and both are retired. I haven't been into any of the recent patterns enough to want (to buy) anything from them. I'm waiting to be "wow'd" by a pattern again but it hasn't happened yet which is kind of disappointing. My daughter also likes Vera Bradley (she's 13) so she has a few items in it for school like the lunch bag, backpack, etc. I buy Vera Bradley for gifts a lot it seems - for teachers, etc. - because their small accessory items like paper pads, water bottles, etc. are so cute.
ETA - I think their blankets are fabulous. I have one in the Bittersweet pattern. It's my favorite in the house by far.

That twirly birds Miller sounds awesome. I love my miller too and my duffle.
I'm more into accessories and travel stuff too. I LOVE my zip arounds. I have 3_4 of them. The tech cases are awesome too.
All my favorite patterns are retiring. Plum crazy,canterberrycobalt and midnight blues.

I was at a Vera Bradley retail store yesterday, and the SA told me they were opening a new Vera Outlet store in *******, CT possibly by Labor Day. Yay! She also told me that the outlet stores were going to start carrying their own, slightly less expensive patterns, instead of just all discontinued merchandise. Reminds me a little of Coach outlets. We shall see, I guess!
This morning I ordered a medium cosmetic bag in the Canyon print. It was on sale. Retired print. It's my favorite print so far.

Today on .com, there is free shipping plus an additional 30% off sale prices. I really want something in Go Wild but going to have to wait. I'm visiting an outlet on Monday.
