I think Jonathan is equal in weight with swift. I definitely think it is lighter than togo/clemence. I don’t have epsom or Mysore to compare, unfortunately.

I just got a Gold Birkin 30 in Veau Jonathan leather with PHW. The leather is so heavenly! Very smooth like swift but sturdier and doesn't slouch unlike swift. It is very light and the gold color in this leather is lighter not as dark as the gold color in togo.

Definitely my most favourite leather and I am so grateful I am offered this leather in gold for my first Birkin

I have seen a picture of a Gold Birkin in Veau Jonathan which somewhat looked similar to a Barenia Fauve? Was this just because of the picture and lightning or does yours also remind you of Barenia leather?

Well I’ve had my VJ b25 for 1.5 years now and I’ve used it a good bit. We accidentally got caught in the rain and also ran into a bush branch and also have been on a few plane rides....and she still looks perfect.

Perhaps you'll find reading this thread useful though the Bolide 27 as far as I know only comes in Swift or Epsom, not Jonathan.

Yeap it dried perfectly! I did brush it off pretty quickly once I got inside. It was definitely not a drizzle! I would've gotten wet pretty quickly if I just stayed under the rain. It was also maybe a couple of minutes each time?

love the SO pink rodeo on vert combination. Looks like we both think alike when it comes to pink/dark pink on green!

What colors do you wear yours with? I love the idea of this color but find that in the dark it’s not bright enough and in the daylight it’s not dark enough! Then, I love the idea of this leather but it’s not as casual as clemence or Togo so it’s a bit harder to style. Am I overthinking this bag??
