VCA waitlist orders fulfillment time

Does anyone know if frivole white gold pave earrings in small have waitlist ??? It's not available online and not at the boutique. Is it easy to pre order piece ?
I have an intermittent SA in the SF store and I question the language they use in communicating availability of pieces. I asked about SOs and she just told me they weren’t doing them anymore. Then I corrected her and told her that VCA had put them on hold for the time being. Then she amended her statement immediately. Then she said that I wouldn’t be able to place any SOs because they weee going to increase the minimum purchase history, which if VCA has done it has not been circulated. She did that without even checking my history. I’m so glad I work with my SA in NYC who is way less uppity and has much more integrity than this person. So just be aware SA’s “omit” words and make “assumptions” which can completely distort the truth. Confirm with other SAs or consider moving on from them.
When I was in store a couple weeks ago the SA told me tiger eye VA pendant was 4-6 week wait!
I was also told they were going to up the spend history for SO but they weren't sure what the new threshold would be. I was told currently the only people who can place SO are those who have spent half a mil on a single piece of jewelry (I'm in a super competitive area unfortunately)
In that case, there would be no special orders for me! I would have to make do with what was available or easy transferred in.
Calling BS. Not you but the person that told you that. In fact someone on the forum just got an SO approved. No insult to that person but I’m guessing they have not spent half a mil on one piece. Too bad there are some SAs that just spout garbage. Oh wait. You’re saying currently. Maybe that could be true but those are pretty much royalty and I guess if Kate Middleton wanted an SO they’d probably do it for her.
Yes I always add for you when I hear something like this, such as that piece is discontinued “for you” or that piece cannot be ordered or we are not accepting SO. I don’t understand where these inconsistencies come from but it must be so fascinating to be an SA. I don’t think these are blow offs or lies.
Our SAs are balancing a complex portfolio of wish lists and clients against some calculations they must make and reevaluate about how each of us makes decisions and what we value. Is the $85k piece my ceiling or the $300k watch? Will I buy both this year? If they grant my wish of a $25k item, but I would have spent $65k and now a $65k piece must find a home.
I am retired now but it is so different than the job I did when I worked. I would be fascinated to understand the behind the scenes of an SA! That said. I also agree $500k on a single piece is unlikely, but it would be so fascinating to know where it came from. I think it is smart marketing not exactly bs. Think how it could affect people’s decisions about their own SO or MTO if they have a doubt if it seems more special. Or if a SO or MTO is rejected. Again it becomes so special and something you may never have the chance of if you don’t buy or want one big piece. To me very fascinating and masterful!
I asked around last year and the guilloche bracelet with the two pave motifs was available but the full guilloche they said would require a deposit and 5-9 month wait. But that was last summer, things may have change!
Not from nyc area, but I’m from California and I just put in a deposit! My SA quoted me about 4 months, but she’s had some come in at 2 months also.

I don't live near a boutique so I'm stuck with ordering online. Trying to decide whether I want to possibly risk waiting 9-12 months lol.
You still can get in touch with an SA in a boutique and order by phone / text. They send you a link to pay and send you the pieces by mail.Wow
Bump, also wondering this. Seems earrings in general are really hard to come by for the past year
