I have been actively avoiding the temptations of this subforum for the last few months, but I miss you guys! Actually, we began renovating our house in late spring….which we are still doing (and it looks like we will continue to do so for the foreseeable future :wtf: ), and then college application *and* football season started for my younger son, so I haven't had much time for anything else.

I am fortunately very close with my SA, so she doesn’t let me stay out of the loop for very long; she is also low-key working on my husband for the dream necklace she ordered for me months ago. I am trying to focus on that piece and worry about everything else on my list after, which is also why I have been trying (and failing) to keep myself out of the loop. I think both the silver obsidian and the pietersite are gorgeous stones and would definitely consider either/both, especially alternating pave (which I think she mentioned?). And of course the turquoise alternating. After the necklace (if I can get that to happen) it will be a tough call between one of those and the Noeud, which is still near the top of my list.

Glad to see you back! Good luck with everything going on and can't wait to see your dream necklace!

Hi ladies, I am tempted to add either the YG Guilloche or WG Guilloche 5 motif bracelet to my collection. Can anyone with this piece share about the durability of it over time …and does it still shine as much after some time? Do you shower with it?
Thank you

I have accomplished the task of deciding what I want my idea stack to be :panic: big accomplishment! But, this is going to be a slow burn for me. Probably need to wait a year between purchases. Which would you choose for my second piece? I own the YG/Diamond 5 motif already.

I love anything pave but the perlee clovers is the clear front runner for me here. I also like the contrast between the size of the clovers on your existing motif bracelet and the perlee clovers. Amazing.

I think the two pave 5 motif bracelets look stunning together so the WG 5 motif would be my vote.

You will have to be careful with guilloche but it is gorgeous. Both colors are beautiful. You can shower with it because it’s gold but keep in mind the grooves may cause residue cloudiness to remain on the motifs. If you don’t bang the bracelet everywhere it will remain shiny and beautiful for years. Do know that it will probably get scratched over time but definitely enjoy the bracelet and enjoy wearing it.

Thank you for your input Chicaboo, I will have a look at it in store today. Hopefully I will be able to decide. I am
considering the Hammered Yg bracelet as I’ve read it’s more hard wearing. But the shine of guilloche is too hard to resist . Does anyone here has pictures of their guilloche bracelet worn after some time? I wonder how bad can the scratches be?

Is it silly to extend a vintage pendant just 0.5"? I prefer 17" necklaces and the standard length just feels a tad short. I've been wearing it with 0.5" extender and I just feel like I like it better that way but it's such a small difference that I'm not sure if it's all in my head.

I love the two pave motifs together. Truly stunning. This would be my choice. The Perlee with your existing YG pave would provide great foundation for stack but will still need additional piece other than the wg pave to balance. IMO these three pieces while beautiful individually don’t provide the necessary cohesion for a great stack.

Both are excellent choices but my gut says clover.....The pave 5 motif is stunning! Is it an easy piece for everyday wear?
