Someone buy this so I don't feel bad that I can't :crybaby:
Looks like it is sold. I have been looking for one for a long time and have seen them sell as low as $20K. I am not sure if I would be comfortable buying from TRR at that price

I think it is priced on the higher-end because it comes with the COA, which is rare. People also like that it is returnable, so in these cases it is easy to purchase and decide once it arrives.

Hi! The BTF pave Frivole ring is super comfortable. It's because it is an open ring. I do not find the flowers get in the way at all, and I wear my ring casually doing a lot of activities. It has full bling which is what I love. If you are considering a Frivole ring, I would suggest you ordering it. Since you have to MTO your rings, I am sure you know there is no obligation and you can return it.

I love love the Frivole ring.

Yes, I ordered the yellow sapphire butterfly BTF! As you know from my post, I really split hairs on size and went back and forth at home trying on the two sizes my SA shipped me (52 & 53). The butterfly BTF ring for me fit a bit tighter in the same size as my Frivole. This is because I have big knuckles, and the butterfly BTF ring is a more closed ring vs. the Frivole BTF which is a more open ring. I also tried both the yellow sapphire butterfly (52) and the pink sapphire butterfly (53) so I could compare stones too and decided on the yellow.

As you know, I love love love BTF rings. I think they are so beautiful each in its own way. I don’t truly love the butterfly BTF ring and passed on it several times. However, I really wanted more BTF rings. Hence, I caved and purchased the yellow sapphire one.

I'm not sure which post of mine you saw about the butterfly BTF ring, but in one of them, I posted my flower garden with butterflies buzzing around. I'll repost it here to share.
As FYI, the yellow sapphire butterfly I am wearing is the 52 which was a bit tight on me. I ordered the 53. My Friviole BTF pave is a 52. It is smaller due to the more open circle.

I vote to get a Frivole pave BTF ring. You can see how gorgeous it is! It is my favorite VCA ring. Hope this helps.

ETA: By the way, when I wear my Frivole BTF ring, the flowers are flipped than the way you see it worn in the photo. The larger flower is toward my middle finger. I flipped it here worn with the butterfly ring as the larger flower looks better toward the pinky to bring the butterflies (and draw the eye) more toward a center balance for a full-bloom look. It's all preference though how you wear these rings.

Hi Everyone,
I am pretty much new in the luxury world and I am considering buying a sweet Alhambra pendant. This will be my first purchase.
I don't have VCA where I am so I will have to order online. Do you recommend ordering online, or going to the boutique?
Hi and welcome to VCA and this forum! We are a bunch of friendly, excitable people who love to see and talk about VCA!

Here are my thoughts to share...
- If you plan to purchase other pieces, it is worth developing a relationship. If you plan to only get this piece and perhaps a second piece, then I personally do not think a relationship with a SA is necessary. I would just purchase online as online shopping is quite easy, especially if it's a big hassle for you to get to a boutique.

- The big pro of purchasing online is that you can return the piece. As a new client purchasing at the boutique, my guess is they will only give you store credit for your first purchase should you change your mind. You will not get full refunds until you build a relationship at the boutique. For your pendant though, you may be 100% sure you want this pendant, so this may not be a deciding factor for you.

What would I do?...
- I also do not have a VCA near me. For me, I like going to a boutique for fine jewelry purchases. It gives me the chance to meet a SA and also try on other pieces. The most important aspect to me, above all else, is the aftercare service from the SA. If I have any issues, I know I can text my SA, and he will take care of it of it for me. You never know with fine jewelry the unexpected things you may need in aftercare, even months after the purchase (e.g. you need an adjustment).

My suggestion on the pendant...
- The Sweet Alhambra pendant is lovely, but it is very small and dainty. It barely shows up on some people. The dainty look may be the look you are going for, and if yes, it's the perfect pendant. However, for peace of mind, I would suggest you try both the sweet and Vintage size. You can try on both at the boutique, or you can order both online. This way, you can compare and be sure. If you order online, you can return the one you do not want. I am a big fan of checking "fit and size" and always do comparisons for peace of mind. Fine jewelry is too expensive to have regrets.

Important thought...
If you do order both pieces online with the intent of returning one, I would do this in two separate transactions. This will give you two separate receipts/transactions, one for each item vs. one receipt with two items listed on a single receipt. It's a minor point, but I would think for your very first piece, you would want one receipt showing the single item you purchased, and not a hodge-podge receipt with two items. I think it will make the purchase more special for you.:heart:

Hit the boutique!
If you can make the trip to visit a boutique, I would definitely do that, especially if you plan to buy. I would take this opportunity to look at the other pieces and see them in real life. Then, when you get back home and browse online, you can visualize the pieces better as you have seen them in real life.

Good luck to you! I know you are so excited, and I am so excited for you too!
Please share photos if you wish! We love to see bling!
Hope this was helpful.

Wow! Thank you so much for the answer! I really needed this. I definitely want to start my collection, so a trip to the boutique after what you said, seems like the best choice!
I did think the sweet alhambra might be small too, and I was thinking to check out the vintage one.
I will update you on which one decided :happydance:
Regarding color, I think between these two. Do you think Its a good first choice?

Hi! I'm glad it was helpful. On the MOP (Mother of Pearl) vs. the onyx, my vote goes to the MOP.
MOP is so gorgeous to me, and the iridescence against the YG is beautiful. I am a WG person, so I have the WG MOP combination, but YG MOP Alhambra is my favorite combination. MOP just makes a face glow!

For me, I would get YG MOP. You can wear that pendant with everything, everyday.
Onyx is nice, but I find YG and onyx sometimes a bit harsh, especially depending on what outfits you wear. Plus, onyx is definitely not a color that works with everything, not to me at least. Again, this is 100% preference, and you may want to wear your onyx all the time.

As you plan your visit, here's some fun homework! This is the motif sizing page:

For fun, you can print this out, cut out th Vintage and Sweets motifs, and stick them on your neck.
Or, you can just simply compare them visually side by side.

Good luck to you and please share your purchase!
