@BigAkoya! Your photo makes me think of beautiful flower garden with butterflies buzzing around! Please post more action photos of your rings!
You know my love for big rings and the how the butterfly quite wasn't big enough, a bit wimpy for me.
I finally caved after seeing everyone's fabulous modshots. As I was trying on these rings for size and comparing them with my Frivole, I had this wild idea to wear two.

No more wimpy... flower garden with butterflies buzzing!:heart:
It does make this more a chunky ring look, and the beauty of the separate floating butterflies is definitely lost.
On days I want to see these butterflies buzzing by themselves, I will wear just the single butterfly alone.

did anyone see that Christie's is auctioning a lapis/'calcite' 20 motif in yellow gold?!
I never heard of a calcite stone in vca.
The lapis looks like the beautiful old ones with the gold flecks in it.
Yes! Here is a photo if anyone is interested. Of course, it will go for much more than the estimate, I wonder why they always post such low estimates?

Hi, I’m very close to ordering the rose gold 16 motif necklace. Before I go to the boutique to place my order, I would love to have some help.

Should I also order the matching alhambra earrings in vintage or sweet size? I’m not a fan of the sweet size as it’s really tiny on my rounder face. But, it’s a good match for the necklace and will also go with my sweet carnelian necklace. I’m really conflicted as I like the vintage size on my ears, but am worried that the bigger size will overwhelm the sweet necklace.

I really need some good advice as my SA says that the pieces will have to be preordered and I can’t try them beforehand .

I personally like how it looks to mix different sizes. With most skin tones the rose gold earrings can blend in a bit, and with the smaller size, the sweets may disappear. Since you already don’t favor the sweet style earrings, I would go with the sweet necklace and vintage earrings.

I love mixing sizes. I have the vintage earrings and magic necklace and I think they look great together. I think the vintage earrings will upgrade the sweet necklace even more. Actually! it is the exact set I’ve thought about getting myself! But I can’t try it on so I haven’t ordered it.

Deffo go for the mixed sizes. I did the same with my sweet bracelet and vintage pendant. It creates a varied flow rather than a matchy-matchy vibe.

Beautiful! I love the pink sapphire pendant. It's really beautiful with the contrast between the pink and diamond. Have you tried on the butterfly earrings that are WG diamond on one side and RG pink sapphire on another? I think those would be beautiful on you but also match the pink sapphire for the pendant, if you were to wear them together.

Thank you! I love it too.

Funny enough, they actually had a pair of the butterfly earrings with sapphire on one side and WG/diamonds on the other in the boutique on the same day, so I did try them on. I really liked the way the white gold side "popped" and thought that if I ever decided to add these to my collection, I would prefer them to both be in WG. The RG/pink sapphire side of the earrings was really pretty, but somehow I did not find that it stood out on me as much as the necklace did...not sure why.

I know that it can seem strange, but that is the general auction mentality for jewelry auctions...estimate low to sell high. It is more of a marketing tool to get people to bid than an actual expected range, in many cases.

Thanks for posting this, that does make sense. I have bid on items before, even for very special items, because I thought the sale price might be within reach, so you are correct. I have rarely won though.

Your earrings are beautiful! I love all of the pave sets, but the diamonds do really pop visually.
