Haha no problem. Well, I got her one of my first times going alone too and let me tell you, that was NOT fun. I'd been warned about her prior as well. She will obviously help you and try to be respectful I guess, but she just doesnt seem to provide an experience that you would want to re-live to say the least. Last time I saw her she had straight bangs and shes not thaat old, but you can tell shes older than the rest and she just doesnt look too happy or welcoming. My advice if you do get her is to just make what you want very clear and dont let her convince you that you or what you want is wrong, or unreasonable. Just reiterate that for you it is necessary that she meets these needs because you prefer your bags this way. Have fun shopping!

By the way if you like the sitting, relaxing, and looking through tons of bags before you choose kind of environment, I would go to hotel vancouver instead of holts. :) but if you know just what you want, or somewhat have an idea (for example choosing between say 3 different bags) then go to holts because they are efficient and very friendly as well as accommodating.

Most bags here in Canada are a bit cheaper than in the US. Although the tax is killer ... I would suggest purchasing in Portland if you can!

All my bags are made in USA. I am pretty sure most of the Speedys and Neverfulls are made in USA since I've tried on a few.

There is also a Chanel in Holt Renfrew so it's probably more convenient for you to shop there!

I might go to Burrard location. I phoned today and they have 3 in stock, holt renfrew have 1. They are all made in the US though, but it's fine. I'll try calling again to see if Lina is in this weekend. Does she know you personally? She might ask who referred her

Finally got her :-) I apologize but I didn't ask for Lina (which I really should have). I was in contact with one of their SA which was referred to me through a private convo here in the forum, but she was off today and DH insisted on getting it today so we went. Overall experience was ok. Didn't spend that much time in the store since I know what I'm getting.

As long as you got what you were looking for! Yup if you ever go in just tell her Fifi's mommy referred you lol [emoji6] everyone knows her at the store she's my pretty little Pomeranian and my BF and I go in all the time :) congrats on your purchase! You'll get many uses out of that bag!

Update: i returned this bag to exchange for the one I picked in the store. This was the 1st bag shown to me and I saw a tiny thread hanging out and wasn't quite happy with the stitching, and so I asked for another one which I liked more and picked. Got sooo disappointed when I got home and thoroughly checked the bag. Turned out, it was the one I said no to. Called the next day, SA was standing by her "story" but backed off as soon as i said that I made note and remembered clearly what's the date code of the bag I picked. It might have gotten "mixed" up when she boxed it, but I can't help feeling tricked. Came in the next day but looked for the SA who was recommended by one of the TPFer. Jennifer of Burrard is amazing and I highly recommend her. It's like talking to a friend, carefree and no pretensions, above all, packed my bag right under my eyes Glad it was resolved.
