I’ve been contemplating a 10 motif MOP or blue agate and wonder if now is the time. But I keep not being able to decide whether I should just “go big” and get a 20 in MOP ‍♀️
I have a 10 guilloche necklace and a 20 MOP. Personally, I prefer the 20 MOP it's just spectacular. I also have the 5 guilloche bracelet. Combination of the 10 necklace with 5 bracelet is pretty but not quite whouuu for me.
The question that you should be asking yourself is what is it you really want? Is it a 10 or 20 motif? If 20 motif is what you really want then I’d save up and buy that. Don’t buy the 10 in the MOP or blue agate because of price increase unless you’re unsure of the size.
Have you tried a 10 or 20 in those stones or in any just for size comparison to give you an idea of the look you want?

Ask yourself what look you want to have? Which your heart really wants? Hoping to have helped you.Good luck.

Hello, could you share/pm your SA contact with me?
Would you be able to visit in person, everyone at VCA is absolutely welcoming and will give you a high level of service at the store. I am sorry to say my SA no longer takes clients as she is now at back office. I recommend going in and hopefully you will find the perfect SA for you, to connect with. Best wishes!

A friend of mine wondered if it could be that they are catching the rest of the world up to the US? It’s sucked for us all along. Lol.

My husband talked to someone higher up in the company at one point. The price increases are because the parent company, Richemont, didn’t buy gold during Covid, so now all of their companies are having ridiculous price increases so customers can pay for their mistake now that gold is trading above $2k/oz. Panerai is doing the same thing with increasing the price of their gold watches multiple times in a short time span.

Increasing the price 10% three times a year must have been more tolerable to their market analysis than just a one time 30%+ increase. I’m not sure about the US increases versus other areas globally but if they determine the US market will tolerate price increases more and not reduce sales we will get dinged for it.

Did they make it sound like an across the board increase? I feel like I’ve heard 2 things now
I was looking at a 5 motif and that’s when he mentioned the price increase on May 11th.

He said anywhere from 3.5-7% but didn’t say what was included, I only assume the 5 motif because that’s what I was looking at when he brought it up.

Very disappointing
