SG doesnt seem to have any price increase this round except when our tax went up to 8% from 7% on 1st jan hence they made adjustment.
Does anyone know of a price increase happening soon in the USA? The Vintage Alhambra necklace MOP is 2960Euro on the France website but $2750 on the US website. Sweet Alhambra necklace MOP is 1640Euro vs. $1520. I was waiting to buy while I'm in Paris in a few months but if they are cheaper in the US now.....Any and all suggestions please!
It’s not cheaper in France even with the tax refund since you still have to pay customs. You can just buy in the US now.
Everything is going up… you’re eyeing this one beautiful piece for free now is the price has gone up by a decent amount! It’s not right and there’s not really a reason for it… Don’t get me started “inflation, economy, issues, etc” this company can surely spare increasing their prices, even during these tumultuous times

I will rue the day it becomes 10k for a 5 motif… But then again Chanel bags were a mere $1-2k in the 90s and look at how much they are now. My brain hurts thinking about this
Actually it is not too far away. Some 5 motif bracelets are already in the 8k sgd range. Just 2 to 3 more price increases of around 5% to 8% and it will exceed 10k for a 5 motif bracelet. About 1.5 to 2 years from now if we are having 2 price increases every year?
I agree. The WG 5 motif guilloche bracelet is now AU$9,650 since the latest price increase in late January (it was AU$9,000). I would love to get the matching earrings but they went from AU$8,600 to AU$9,250 and I cannot stomach paying more for the earrings now than I did for the bracelet.
I love VCA but as someone who only buys luxury jewellery once a year (if I’m lucky), I’ve finally reached my limit and I’ve crossed off a lot of my wishlist pieces.
The one thing I’ve found is that VCA pricing actually makes Cartier look affordable

As someone who recently pulled a trigger on vintage pave earrings in white gold here in US instead of Milan next summer where we plan to celebrate our special milestone , I say go for it now - will be more costly for sure to wait and of course, your piece might not be available.

anyone planning on visiting japan should check out vca there...i compared prices of a few countries (US, France, HK, TW) and Japan was by far the lowest...think maybe they haven't increased prices when everyone else did and the low yen.
