japan just had an increase in January, I doubt they are having another one so soonOh wow only catching up on these now, I was in 3 VCA boutiques in Tokyo yesterday and nobody mentioned a PI to me but I didn't ask either and they certainly weren't trying to push a sale so didn't proactively provide the info
Does anyone know if it applies in Japan too? Bought one item and decided to be controlled for the rest (not that they have stock for most of my wishlist items anyway..).

For Canada, HJ increase is more in the range of 10%. Surprised that the US is 47%; there must be a decimal missing in the middle. 
I inquired if I could prepay an item in full and if the old price would be locked in and they replied no to both. You can't place an order now. You can certainly place an order after the PI and you will pay the new price. If you are at the boutique and it is in stock, you pay the pre-PI price. On Friday, the new price sets in.

The Jan 2025 PI in Japan and Korea was just to equalise prices due to their weakening FX. I believe they will follow soon too because JP current prices are almost equal to our current (Pre-Increase) prices which will change tomorrow, 25-Apr.
JP now adopts a silent price increase (unlike last time by giving advanced notice of their JP website), so let's see tomorrow. Even if they don't follow the same timeline, I believe they will do soon enough. They're always more diligent to increase (or reduce) prices as far as I am aware

Yup... same. All stores in USA said the same thing that we can't order and lock in old price, which REALLY HURTS!!
Tried multiple stores to see if I could prepay and lock in the price with no luck! Ended up purchasing Perlee clover in WG to add to my collection. The price increase in USA is SUBSTANTIAL!! I got prices after price increase which is pretty insane, if that's to be beleived. Hammered YG 20M is having a HUGE jump in price. So are some of the other pieces.

And hammered 20M Alhambra over 2K.. pretty insane. Not all pieces are seeing such huge price hikes though .. but these are the 2 pieces that were on my wishlist. Malachite 20M Alhambra will also see a price increase of 2300 or so.
glad you could get it now! I remember it used to be around $24k a few years ago. I think chanel has the most egregious increases - the all pave coco crush was 33k a few years ago and now it's 48k!
Yup.. I remember it being 24K as well. I think it was around covid when there was no stock available.
I got a message from my SA this morning to try and come in as there was a sizable PI happening on Friday. I was told the same as others; in store through tomorrow, old price. No orders or deposits to lock in old price.
I tried a bunch of pieces and ended up getting the frivole yellow gold, pave earrings. I have considered them for years but never pulled the trigger. As it usually happens, I walked in thinking one thing and walked out with something I wasn’t even thinking about. Go figure. I also have once other piece that I might pull the trigger on but will see how I feel tomorrow.
I hope everyone can get something they like! It is a great justification to purchase!! Hahahahaha!
