Wingtip Fluevogs and Mary Jane Doc Martens were my first obsessions a good 30 years ago and I still love them! Fluevogs are the Chrysoprase of the shoe universe! Weird and enchanting.

An unconventional thought, why not take a trip to NYC or even Vegas — any place that are likely to have the pieces you want, where there are Cartiers and VCAs galore and try on both bracelets? This is too expensive not to try on first. And you get a fun trip too.

I’ve bought expensive things before seeing IRL. Luckily, I loved them, but it is a risk.
