Hey everyone! I'm new here and just saw this forum while I searched online for Valentina handbags. I realize that this is a 6-year old post, but I thought I'd contribute to it because I found a cute Valentina at T.J. Maxx this afternoon! I read a few posts on here and saw that somebody commented that this brand is a T.J./Marshall's-exclusive brand. It definitely isn't. These bags are Italian. The tags on and in my bag are all written in Italian. They're also not Valentino knock-offs. Valentino and Valentina are two separate brands. These don't even resemble Valentino bags.

I was a bit skeptical myself because I had never seen this brand before in any T.J. Maxx or Marshall's , and I usually stop in T.J. Maxx a couple times a month. Also, there was only one of this brand of purses in the entire store. I'm used to seeing a whole bunch of brands like Anne Klein, Tignanello, London Fog, Jessica Simpson, and Nine West in the purse section of T.J.'s, along with a few MK, Coach, Kate Spade, and DKNY selections. I have never even heard of this brand before today. But, I did a little research and it's the real deal. They have a boutique in Italy where the purses are sold, but I don't think the actual website sells them online.

With that said, I love my bag! It was actually in the T.J. Maxx clearance section and I got it for a whopping $70. Great buy! If any of you ever come across one of these, definitely go for it. It's genuine leather and made with incredible durability and quality.

Valentina seems to be a legit brand.....my sister and I were at TJ Maxx today and handbags is always our first stop! I have been looking for a drawstring bag and we came across this beautiful brand...for the price I wasn't sure if it was real or faux leather but sure enough the tag said leather.
The bags looked gorgeous and were a great price......we're going back in the morning to check them out and maybe purchase!
I love having a quality brand from Italy that not everyone else is carrying.

I've seen quite a few Valentinas in my local Marshall's (southeast FL). I've not looked closely at them because of the name - figured it was a Valentino rip off. But I am in the market for a bag that can take the rain better than my LV Cabas Mezzo with all the vachetta leather. So I'm going back to check them out more closely. I am so glad I saw this thread

I bet you all could agree, they are impossible not to love!! I purchased my first Valentina Italian leather handbag last year as a pre-wedding gift to myself. Surprisingly enough, my husband actually spotted it before I did at our local Marshall's. It's a gorgeous salmon and brown bucket style convertible shoulder bag with gold hardware. As soon as I felt it and tried it on, I knew there was no way I was leaving that store without it :-) It's handmade with the most amazing quality and craftsmanship that won't make you feel guilty about dropping a little more money that you normally would on a good bag. I recently purchased my second Valentina, (also from Marshall's) this one is a deep pink satchel also with gold hardware. Just exquisite. My only concern is authenticity. The quality is unquestionable, but since I paid a higher price point for the brand (I'm sure) I really want to know if it is authentic, just for my own knowledge and future reference. Does anyone have ANY idea how I would confirm this is the real deal? I'm dying to know the truth....

Hi everyone, now I have also joined this small group of Valentina fans. :D This is my 1st Valentina, and the pebble leather seems to be really good, thick and squishy. Honestly I was quite impressed with the leather, it's almost as good as my Furla (really close). Smells just as good, too.:smile1: I just hope it wears well, too. I got it at TJMaxx, it's blue and brown large (really large) hobo.

I am glad it worked for you! The leather is very nice. As of dust bag, I am not sure they make them. Never came across dust bag, but for the price and made in Italy I would overlook it. Any old pillowcase will do the trick.

Hi Marisaa, and thanks! Yes, I am honestly very impressed with the leather and its smell. I have some Italian made bags such as Nardelli, Francesco Biasia, Braccialini, Desmo, etc. the leather is quite nice, but they also cost more than this one. But this Valentina this is a standard of what pebbled leather should be. I wonder why they don't include dust bags. I also wish they would make them in more neutral colors, such as beige, "nude", navy, gray, etc. :woot: And of course, more different and wearable shapes would be nice. I am sure I am not the only one who would purchase more of such bags!
I also wish they would make them with silver hardware, I know some ladies were showing these bags with silver hardware, but I haven't come across any so far.:crybaby:
