UPS now requiring Gov't Issued ID to ship over-the-counter

This has been in place since 2005 but is just starting to be enforced. I found out about it a couple of days ago when I went to ship a Christmas package.

Oh and to note, FEDEX has been opening all of my boxes that have over 499$ value slated before they are allowed to ship them. They are ensuring that items meet their high "packaging safely rates" they are enforcing at the counter.
