Update on Pochette Accessoires

Dear @Soniaa, I am like you, been wanting PA DE since last year but keep postponing buying until suddenly it’s discontinued. I really hate myself for not buying it when I had a chance. My store had it but I at that time I chose to buy the mini pochette in DE first thinking I will buy the PA DE later. I am on waitlist for the it because my store still insist PA DE is not discontinued. But it actually never made it to store since end of last year. So I know it’s a false hope, I will never get it. For months I was considering buying the mono or DA print. I am affraid they will discontinued those prints too. I had both prints on my hand but somehow I don’t love them that much so I passed. I kept thinking about them until now but I have made peace with myself if I’m still not sure then I won’t buy. If they are discontinued then they weren’t to be mine. I want to make sure I love my purchase and not hesitating about it. Besides, I believe LV will make other bags that I will love. Maybe it takes time but I’m not in a hurry. Whatever you decide, I wish you wouldn’t regret it.

I too wish I wouldn't regret I don't want to regret but I think I will at first when I walk into the store with the bag knowing I'm about to give it up but like you I'll definitely get over it with time and come to terms that it was for the best. Lol I'm talking about a bag as if I was in a relationship with it hahah. Thanks for making me realize I shouldn't buy an expensive bag if I have second thoughts about it..I'm one of those picky people that strives for the best of the best and wants to get her money's worth. I just got a little carried away with the thought of discontinuation. I also delayed in deciding whether to get DE pochette when it was in stock online because of the price...thought 525 was too much for such a small bag considering it was around 200-300 with the older editions..why the price hike?! Made no sense. And then just recently I realized how much I needed a crossbody (their other crossbodies are kinda ugly) and this pochette started calling out to me and I was like I gotta have it only to find out it's already been discontinued. But I want a pochette so bad that I'm willing to settle for a mono but that's less likely to be available..seems the 3rd most popular one (DA) is the only one that is still arriving in stores. So yeah major disappointment but it is what it is. Guess I was never meant to have one. We're on the same boat.

Btw did your mini pochette have a dull "matte" looking zipper&pull when you bought it???

It doesn't sound like you like the DA print at all so I would just return it. It's a lot of money to use on an item that you don't really like. I would just stalk the site until you see the mono come back in stock. It seems that is how most people managed to get theirs.

Honestly I like how the DA canvas looks in pictures--total opposite of how it appeared in person when I brought it home. I just wanted to have a pochette in my posession so I went crazy for whatever was available. Didn't rationally think too much about the long run. It IS loads of money to spend on an item that I'm not totally digging--thanks for helping me realize that!

I understand your feeling. Honesty if you are unhappy and unsure then you do not like both. Why pay so much for what you don’t like? (Use the money and buy one from the preloved market, you can find like new condition) Now that you have both in your hands, you know which size you prefer. I delayed buying a PA for a long long time and I found one and paid over retail for it. I tried finding it everywhere. LV Customer service told me it’s discontinued (in DE) Occasionally I will see 1 damier Azur print in store.... but never in ebene. All the best. Let us know your decision. [emoji4]

Thank you for your suggestions. I definitely didn't rationally think about the long run when I made the purchase I was just ecstatic to be able to own one. But thinking about the long run I wouldve probably said to myself why did I pay so much for a bag that isn't even holding up well...the day I went to buy the mini DE I saw a female with the DA neverfull and the bottom half portion was darkened while the top half portion retained its original color and I've heard stories of how people can't reverse discoloration on their azurs. So yeah returning it seems like the best option. Glad you got what you wanted. Have you seen the mono in stores recently?? I think the azur is the most likely one to pop up than the other two.

I understand your disappointment and frustration, but I would wait for what I really wanted or maybe consider the preloved route. You have spent almost $1,000 and you don’t seem to be anywhere near happy with your purchases. Something to think about.

I was ecstatic when I made the purchase because I finally had a pochette then became only partially happy when I brought it home realizing it wasn't what I expected. Thanks for helping me realize that I should be getting my money's worth. I don't know what good waiting would do. Guess I have to settle with the fact that it was never meant to be.

But would you WANT to carry 30 keys or 200 coins around with you? That would be pretty heavy.

Just as a side note...I own three mini pochettes, one in all three canvases. I also own four key pouches is various prints, a four key holder and a six key holder. And I own the round coin purse. I use all of them on a regular basis for various purposes. I own exactly ONE Pochette Accessoires (in monogram) and seldom use it at all. For a small cross body bag I'd rather use an Eva clutch or a Favorite PM. Just about the only time I use my PA is when I'm travelling...I put it in my Neverfull MM to help organize my bits and pieces. But I could just as easily use another pouch for that...like a toiletry bag or a cosmetic pouch or just some random non LV pouch. I'm not a big fan of the small strap that comes with the PA, either. The few times I do use the PA as an actual handbag, I will swap out the small strap and use the strap from my Eva clutch.

I’m very happy to have found a DA Pochettte Accessoires today; they’ve been sold out in Canada since at least May and I was told by my SA that it was discontinued.

I have a NF in DA and like it a lot; I really wanted a smaller casual DA bag for the summer and this will be perfect. I think I’ll probably order a longer chain strap so I can wear it crossbody. I don’t wear a lot of denim in the summer because I find it too warm. I’m not too concerned about colour transfer; I’m careful with light coloured bags but carry them a lot at this time of year. DA is just so fresh looking to me.

I found it by calling the main LV number; they found a single DA PA in Canada, and because I had a purchase within the last 60 days they were able to arrange a charge send.

I can see the pending charge on my CC but I haven’t received an e-mail yet; hopefully that will come through today.

Thanks; I’m thinking of a pink leather Maulto strap (another member had a custom one made that looks really cute) as well as a metal chain. They have hardware that looks similar to LV’s but I want to measure to determine the right length and I’m not sure whether to order gold or light gold to match the zipper. I’ll send them a message later today and ask.

DA really doesn’t worry me; I just want more weather proof straps for wearing cross-body.

My PA in DA arrived today; MIF the 24th week of 2018. It’s just a baby; they’re obviously still being made.

I’m now waiting on two straps from Mautto; a 1/2 inch pink blush adjustible leather that will work for both shoulder and crossbody wear and a 44” gold link for crossbody.
