Update on Pochette Accessoires

There has not been any word at all about mini pochette in any canvas being discontinued at this point.
So I decided to post here cause I need help in making a decision. I really wanted a DE pochette but I've been hearing that it's been discontinued?! Some say it is, some say it's not, I don't know what to believe so I decided to go for monogram pochette. Apparently there's 15000 people on the waiting list for that one so I dont know what the chances are of me getting that. So I kept asking around until last month I found the pochette in DA (I really don't want DA because of the color transfer and the fact that its prone to show dirt) and decided to buy it just cause I really want a pochette. This is my first purchase btw. I have a few days left to return; I can't decide whether I should return the DA and wait for a mono/DE with no guarantee of whether I'll ever be able to find one since there's slow production and/or chances of being discontinued...OR should I just keep the DA since I want a pochette although I'm not fond of the canvas. I was hoping to find a mono within the time lot I have to exchange the DA but unfortunately I'm only given 30 days
I don't know what to do. Meanwhile since I wanted the DE in the first place and couldn't find it in the regular size I ended up buying a mini yesterday. Don't know if I should keep that either and wait for the regular. I just wanted 1 pochette in DE and if not DE then mono...but ended up with 2 pochettes I'm not sure of. I don't know what to do

Honestly? If you don't think you like them or that there is a possibility you won'tl use them, I'd return both and wait for what you really want. If that's a DE pochette you may not get one brand new, because I really do think they've been discontinued. They aren't even on the website anymore. But if you look at the pre-loved sites I think you will find one. You might even find a new one on eBay, but I'd make sure to get it authenticated before you buy it. If you are willing to go with the mono pochette, which it sounds like you would, then keep checking the website...they occasionally pop up as available to put in your cart on there. You have to check often, and I recommend checking at various odd times of the day and night. Sometimes they only get one, and if you happen to be the one to see it first you will get it. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
I understand your disappointment and frustration, but I would wait for what I really wanted or maybe consider the preloved route. You have spent almost $1,000 and you don’t seem to be anywhere near happy with your purchases. Something to think about.

I understand your feeling. Honesty if you are unhappy and unsure then you do not like both. Why pay so much for what you don’t like? (Use the money and buy one from the preloved market, you can find like new condition) Now that you have both in your hands, you know which size you prefer. I delayed buying a PA for a long long time and I found one and paid over retail for it. I tried finding it everywhere. LV Customer service told me it’s discontinued (in DE) Occasionally I will see 1 damier Azur print in store.... but never in ebene. All the best. Let us know your decision. [emoji4]
Thanks for your responses. I agree with you all. If I bought it I'm definitely gonna use it. I'm not really into preloved materials--just a personal choice--mainly cause I like things brand new & authentic when I'm paying full amount for it. I was thinking of keeping the mini DE since I also think the poch. has been discontinued and won't be returning so I figure if I can't have it in the poch. size I'd rather have it in mini than not have it at all--I'm drawn to the red interior with it's smooth brown canvas and can use it as wristlet for errands since it fits most of my essentials. So now I'm down to the DA poch. which I'm still unsure about as I have seen visuals of how dirty it can get and totally ruins the appeal after you paid large amount of money for it's appeal (what a ripoff!). On the other hand the next & last item I intend on purchasing is mono speedy 25 and if I kept the DA poch. I'd have all 3 canvases in my collection which I thought would be pretty cool. I just don't know if that's a good enough reason to keep it. It's like 50/50. If i wait for the mono poch. I'll have 2 of the same canvas. The DA canvas doesn't look bad except for it's piss colored undertone in some lights and it's vulnerability to show dirt. And I don't know how many times I can rock it as I own mostly mild-dark colored clothes. Wanted to wear it as a crossbody but I usually wear jeans. Ugh this is so confusing. Have any of you seen mono pochette available online or in stores within recent months???
It doesn't sound like you like the DA print at all so I would just return it. It's a lot of money to use on an item that you don't really like. I would just stalk the site until you see the mono come back in stock. It seems that is how most people managed to get theirs.
To be honest I initially wanted a DE pochette and mono speedy and I wouldve been satisfied with just that and then maybe just to have 3 canvases I would've gotten DA mini poch.
I have looked at preloved stuff and they're either higher than the retail price (which is absurd even for a bag I really want) or lower because they have markings or wear & tear on the interior or exterior. And how do you know if they'll be sending authentic stuff? And if they forget to mention something wrong with item (not everything's accurately captured on camera)--a lot of individual sellers refuse to give refunds. There's all sorts of uncertainties with the preloved route. I want a brand new bag since it's my first purchase if you can understand that.

Dear @Soniaa, I am like you, been wanting PA DE since last year but keep postponing buying until suddenly it’s discontinued. I really hate myself for not buying it when I had a chance. My store had it but I at that time I chose to buy the mini pochette in DE first thinking I will buy the PA DE later. I am on waitlist for the it because my store still insist PA DE is not discontinued. But it actually never made it to store since end of last year. So I know it’s a false hope, I will never get it. For months I was considering buying the mono or DA print. I am affraid they will discontinued those prints too. I had both prints on my hand but somehow I don’t love them that much so I passed. I kept thinking about them until now but I have made peace with myself if I’m still not sure then I won’t buy. If they are discontinued then they weren’t to be mine. I want to make sure I love my purchase and not hesitating about it. Besides, I believe LV will make other bags that I will love. Maybe it takes time but I’m not in a hurry. Whatever you decide, I wish you wouldn’t regret it.
If it's just the idea of having something in all three canvases that you like, but you aren't sure about the pochette in DA, why not return it and get a different item in DA that won't get as much wear and tear or that you can carry inside your bag? I think the key pouch is cute in DA, a 4 or 6 key holder, or even a zippy coin purse.
I was actually ecstatic that I found a pochette (after hearing of discontinuation & eliminating affordable priced item rumors) regardless of its canvas--Desperately needed a cute crossbody! When I brought it home the DA canvas color was more apparent and I realized it's not what I saw in store (they're quite slick with their dim lighting) or in pictures. So it's not that I wasn't anywhere near happy at first. However after much rational contemplation, I finally realized what everyones been saying that if I'm not 1000000000000% happy with my purchase I shouldn't keep it considering it's a ****load of my money. Soooo I'm probably going to return it..but I wouldn't expect to buy anything else from LV since their quality has in fact deteriorated so it's not worth the money (and I believe ridiculously expensive luxury bags should not have wear and tear in spite of its age!!) and they're most likely getting rid of affordable items and I'm not gonna get suckered into their mind games and buy something beyond my budget; and not to mention countless number of insolent sales associates that I've dealt with is a major turn off. Such a shame. LV was my only favorite handbag designer as a kid and I always thought I'd have at least one of their collections when I grew up. ( I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEIR BLACK MULTICOLORED LINE--thought it was such gorgeous eye candy that I would never have second thoughts the way I have about these canvases if I bought one, unfortunately I was too young to know that LV had a tendency of discontinuing their items ). Who knew this would become of their business!? SMDH!!!
Now as for the DE mini poch. I also realized that the hardware really sucks--zipper & its pull are very dull and a bit rough to the touch compared to my DA pochette which has a shinier golden smoother more attractive pull and the LV detachable hook is a brighter golden&glossier on the DA poch than the DE mini poch..don't understand that..SA said there's nothing they can do about it..thinking of visiting store to see if others have a dull zip/pull appearance and also thought the red interior would be like bright red instead it's more on the darker side. So I have some time to decide about this. I'll still look for the mono pochette but I have massive doubts. Perhaps I'll have to give up LV altogether...

That is true and I did think about that but the prices of 6 key holder/coin purses are like $200-300...I could fit in 30 keys or 200 coins in a mini pochette for similar price. So those slgs are just not worth it in my opinion. Appreciate your suggestions
