The saga continues.....
This is crazy. So...the same woman from Client Services just called me at home to apologize that her supervisor caught her mistake in allowing a preorder. Because the PA is so popular they can NOT preorder and my order will be cancelled. They have no timeline regarding replenishment.
She sounded very young and apologized repeatedly that she had made such a terrible (her word, not mine) mistake. I assured her it was fine and mistakes are part of life. She said that Mono and DA were not discontinued, but, yes the DE is discontinued. We talked a little longer and I reminded her that the other day she had called a store only to find out the one that was showing at the store had been sold earlier in the day. She asked if I'd mind holding, so she could check stock again at stores.
She came back on and said she found one at a Las Vegas store and would connect me. I just completed the transaction with the SA at one of the Las Vegas stores. I've also checked my CC and there is a charge that just went through at that store. I have the direct number for that store from the SA. It is being shipped ground and I'll post once (if) it arrives. At this point, who knows what the heck will show up on my doorstep.
