Dear Hermes Nuttynut! This looks amazing!! What a brillant idea for an otherwise ruined scarf! Tigre Royal is one of my fav designs and you really did him justice!!! :D

I say we have some very brave ladies here. Hermesnuttynut and Imoline you are very courageous. I will probably turn green at the ears and my heart will jump out of my body my hands will shake just trying to take a due bottle near the silks. The outcomes of your attempts are amazing testament to your skills.

I use this dye , I find it in France :

and they are great , my En désordre has been dyed with the Beu Roi ....

Thanks for the information. I was afraid to use a commercial dye because of the chemicals, so I used plain indigo crystals. I think your colors are much more vibrant.

Thank you, Sammy Royal!! It's one of my favorite designs too. I have a few in different colorways and formats.

Jadeite - Thanks for the compliment!! I honestly don't know if I could do it again. I actually liked the pink TR before I dyed it, but it was in need of a fixing. Perhaps sometime I'll find one in better shape, and leave it as it is!!

The result is simply amazing and makes me want to try it. The big issue, however, is how to find reasonably damaged scarves? The ones I saw were stained, but the corners were also shredded.

Thank you !!!

It depends on the color I wish to have in the end .... the dye I use is adding to the original colors of the scarf (except for blanc mat which stays this way ) so green and red you'll have brown .....

Ladies... You get the dye right the first time with your H silks or you've had practice with other items non-H before? I break out in cold sweat just thinking about it.
