Just catching up on this thread and see everyone's amazing DIY skills (which I have to say go well beyond my own).

Eulalia - this is absolutely adorable. I can't believe you didn't have to glue the ribbon. Love that you have a matching button with contrast "stitching" Wow!

Diva999 - thanks - I may have provided the idea but you gave it it's official name!! :flowers: Love the rubberband-less way! I like your way even better as you don't have to stitch in the back. I do have mean skills with rubber bands, though! :p.

Way cool CB!!!!! Did you make the balls from each end of the ribbon? I love this!!! I'm going to try this!

Lutz - yours turned out great too - so perfectly round! AMAZEBALLS 'round the world!

Wow - everyone is so talented! I can't wait to see others AMAZEBALLS and AMAZESTARS. Anyway, we ought to have a contest to see who can come up with the most creative use of bolduc or a scarf box, bag or something you might otherwise not use again. That would be fun!!

Paulliac, yes, i used a really long ribbon. To end each ball, I left the last wrap loose and wove the ribbon through it to make a faux knot and pulled it really tight. I am not sure it will really hold if I use it as a daily keychain, but I am going to put my mailbox keys on it. I wish I had a better ring for it, I am going to get one from ACE when I go to town.

^^^Diva :hugs:

I went into Hermes today to look at something my SA found (wasn't the right color). Anyway, she was studying my AMAZEBALL and said "how cute you are - reusing your ribbon like that". I smiled enigmatically and thought to myself "probably won't be the last time you see one of these either"! :p

oh ok... i have no talents at all, I have been playing with the ribbons for about half an hour now and it looks more like a triangle Chinese rice dumpling ...lol... just can't get it to form like a ball, the ribbon keeps getting loose.... :sweatdrop::sweatdrop::sweatdrop: .... I shall keep trying :)

Ladies thanks for the great idea ...:p

Ok, so here is my feeble attempt at making one Amazeball, lol...it´s not secured yet, still have to work on how to best tie it;) Although it´s not perfectly round, it really was made by me, lol!
