UK Price Rise Monday?

I agree about the true target clients however LV also have many items which are deemed 'affordable' and are aimed directly at entry level customers- it is these people who will feel the increase. Perhaps this will be a good reset for many people to reassess if having an LV Key holder is really something that is going to change their life or if they would rather put their hard earned money to better use and buy something more sensible.

One thing is for sure this only affects those who earn in GBP. The rest of the world can have the key holder and matching handbag to go with it.

Is true, the website is not showing the prices until you place them in the cart :( Retiro went up £70 and the NF MM £45 :( I wanted to get these two in Xmas but who knows how much will they be then. I don't think this will be the last increase of the year...

You think there will be another one in the next couples of months?!? Good Lord! Well if that happens I hope someone from tPf tips us off so I can make a purchase.

If there's something you want I would buy it asap, the UK is still cheaper than other countries so they may do another one sooner than usual like they did this time.

I believe so, if they had one a couple of months ago, it wouldn't surprise me if they decided to have another one before Xmas...:/

The Neverfull GM increased by £55. Luckily I bought mine in March this year. I also bought a monogram shawl for £335 in the summer in readiness for the winter. Glad I did buy it back then as it is now £375. A pochette accessoires nm cost £320 before the last price increase, then rose to £335 and is now £355. The price increases are significant for people living in the UK. I do agree that if anyone is after anything in particular then they should buy it as soon as they can. There is bound to be another increase soon enough.

I had my eye on the Papillon NM. Some months ago it was £750, I am almost certain. Yesterday it was £795 and today £835. Awful.
Yes, most people are saving up for their purchases so every time there's an increase people in the UK will have to save for longer but then the price increases again! My Neverfull GM cost me around £790 in March. Can't believe it's £925 already.

I really wanted to get a Mazarine in Raisin to match my Sarah, a couple months ago I think it was £1660, then there was the end of August price rise by the time I had the funds the colour I want went out of stock, still been waiting for it to come back in stock but it went up to £1850 today, so not sure I'll be bothering to get it when it comes back in stock (just seems too much extra to pay for the exact same thing). As a treat though I ordered myself the Twice online yesterday (£955 instead of £1010 today).

I think I will have to stick to items that I have really wanted to purchase for a while now. That's a very hefty increase in price for the Mazarine. My next purchase was meant to be a key pouch in empreinte and that's already increased from £250 to £280 in just a few months. Congrats on your new Twice and glad you got it before the increase.

Not to sound rude or insult you but I very much doubt LV care at all whether or not you have had a pay rise inline with their price rises because their true target customers are people who don't care and wouldn't bat an eyelid at a 20% increase. The fact is that the remain campaign was very clear that prices will increase but people didn't listed and just called it fear mongering, look at where we are now.

Funny! I'm a teacher - 1% a year pay rise if the government bothers with us at all that is. I wasn't specifically referring to me but to the British population as a whole.

I think our not so lovely politicians are more likely to raise their pay rather than the salary of hardworking people like yourself who truly deserve it. I remember a 10% rise in their pay when the general population was and is still suffering the effects of austerity cuts.
