UGGs sizing thread!

I've never actually measured my feet, but I wear a US9 in womens shoes. But I wear a 7 in Uggs. They are not too short for me, and after the fleece compresses the 8's are just too roomy. I tried on the cardi Uggs, and there's a problem with them in comparison because the 7's are definitely too small and they have no fleece to compress around the top of the foot. But the 8's are big enough that my heel slips when I walk, so if they stretch at all they will be sloppy big.

I agree that you almost have to order two sizes initially. I bought my first pair from Zappos so I could try several different sizes and one size smaller than normal was definitely too big. But it was worth paying retail for them because I could send the ones that didn't fit back with no fee.

i normally wear a size 6, i got a size 5 its very comfortable, i've had my uggs for 4-5 years now, i think the sheepskin, shearling lining eventually mold to your feet

Do the Baileys run true to size?. I was looking on the web and one site states they run true to size so to make sure it does'nt say that on all the UGGS I clicked on some others and it does'nt say that on all of them. I tried on a pair of tall ones and they do run a size small, they did'nt have any baileys in. TIA!!

I think they run as true to size as can be. I wear a size 8UK and my Uggs fit perfectly. I don't have wide feet, so i wear socks/pop socks with them. They're extremely comfortable. If you are unsure its better to try on a pair. If you order online make sure you can do a return, that way if they're too big/small you can exchange them.

hey everyone!

i just bought a pair of ultra tall ugg boots and it fits my left foot well, nice and snug, but my right foot, it feels tighter all around. both are in an ugg size 6 women's -- no mismatched pair! and my toes don't jam against the top of the boot at all-- about maybe 1/2" or a little less space left. these feel a lot narrower in the foot with my classic talls!

i'm a little worried since i'm at least familiar with the classic talls. ugg 6 fits me perfectly and i'm a 6.5-7 in other shoes/boots. my classics' sheepskin have molded down a bit but they were not as tight or very-snug fitting when i had first tried them on, as my ultras that i got today! has anyone found if the ultra talls are pretty narrow? or can anyone give any advice on whether or not i should leave it to the sheepskin to pad down for more comfort? i'm not going to wear these ultra talls with socks since i bought these in black :P

(i didn't buy em from zappos, and theres no free exchange i can do!)

also, the circumference fits me comfortably enough , but i would like them maybe looser :( and from zappos, the ultra seems the smallest in circumference (15.5")...then the classics (16") , and finally the ultimate braid/talls (17"). should i just stick with the ultras if the circumference fits me well enough, but maybe the sheepskin on the shaft will pad down so they'll become looser up top, too?

im usually a size 5.5 and ordered bailey in size 5 it feels like in the front is 1 finger size bigger. does that happens to most people or it suppose to fit like a regular shoes. and bailey dont have smaller size unfortunately. :(

I never believed in sizing down and I'm here to say that for the ugg classics you must must must size down! Sure when you try on your normal size, it'll fit nice and cozy but if you pay attention and push your heel all the way to the back you'll notice how much space is left between you toe and the tip of the shoe. They will stretch out. The smaller size may seem snug at first but pretty soon itll be perfect!

should you size down for the knightsbridge or mayfaire also?

Do they stretch in all directions? If they're tight around the ankles will that area give as well? My toe touches the front of the boot and I'm wondering when they stretch if that will get better and not be touching the front when I walk?
Thanks
