Can you go to the store to try the Uggs on before ordering them online? The classic boots tend to run a size smaller. The sheepskin will be fluffy at first but will eventually flatten leaving more room in the boot plus the suede will stretch a bit.

peace43- i don't have a store near me where i can try, that is why i have to buy online, i wish i had a store near though, i live in a small town, and we have nothing :( I do thank you for all of your help, you ladies are great, as usual.

Recommend you get two sizes then when ordering your Uggs online to try on at home. Zappos has free shipping even for returns although ordering two sizes will take up room on your credit card. Again, Classics tend to run big, so get a size down. Example: If you're a size 8 or 8.5, get a size 7 in Uggs and a size 8 in Uggs (they don't have half sizes). Better to order two sizes for comparison at the same time.

I actually disagree with the one size smaller rule.I'm usually an 8 and tried on the 7s but my toe was pressing against the end of the shoe and they were uncomfortable when I walked.
I ended up buying the 8's and although they were just a little roomy. I just wear thicker socks (I wear uggs as winter boots and don't go barefoot with them) and they fit fine.

I'm an 11/12 (US sizes), which is a 42.5 in European sizes (I hate that I have big feet :crybaby:) and I buy my UGG Australia boots in either a 10 or 11 and both fit fine.

Hi, really hope you can help me out!

I am buying some UGG Nightfall boots but am really confused by all the contradicting sizing information.

I have read several sources of info that state that uggs run a size large, but when i look at the sizing chart on the ugg website with actual measurements they seem to run TTS if not a bit small.

For example i am a UK 7 -8 my foot is 10" long and my 10.1/4" boots fit just nice.

Now on the UGG website a 10 1/4" boot is a UK 7.5.

Now if i were to order half a size down like some sources are saying then they would be 10" long....the exact length of my foot and my toes would be squished, no ?

Can everyone tell me their experience of sizing and did you order via the measurements on the UGG site or just order your usual shoe size ?

TIA xxx

I am a size UK7 and my foot is 10" (UK6.5 on ugg chart).....if i go one size down to a UK6 then the insole will be 9" 7/8 according to the UGG sizing chart ......isnt it just better to go by the actual measurements or are they a bit misleading ? I dont see how my 10" foot will be comfortable in a 9 7/8 insole, or even 10" for that matter :s
