Hi fellow CL lovers!

I am tempted by the Tuba Boots to wear with pant tucked in. I'm wondering if they look too much like riding boots. Also, because the ankle area isn't tapered, does it fall correctly, or does the ankle get all slouchy looking?

I guess this is not a popular boot, because when I did a search, barely anything came up for them.

Thanks for any and all opinions!

I think it's a basic and discrete boot which is why there are no posts ooh-ing and ah-ing over them.

That said, I adore it. It's very chic. I think it would be great with jeans tucked in. It is a little like a riding boot but more formal because of the heel. Have you had a chance to try them on?

There are some stock shots of the old version on NAP - might give you a good idea of look http://www.net-a-porter.com/product/34013

^I saw them at Saks, picked them up because they seem so basic and put them down for the Babel boots. But I need a more walkable boot for those marathon shopping days! Thanks for the link...I am still unsure if I want to spend $$ on a boot that is not sexy!

They're not unsexy, but you can get that look from other designers for a lot less. I've a pair of Ralph Lauren ones that are really similar and I wear them constantly.

I do love the style of the Tuba boots. My only concern has been the calf circumference on the CLs, though. Not so much any more, since I've seen what my cobbler can do to make the calves fit.
