I heard that let-trade.com is a legitimate business after searching here . I have been in touch with them as I wanted to purchase several bags they have. They aren't very quick in replying my emails but they eventually reply me. I just bank wired the large amount of money yesterday to their account under name Cxxx Sxx Yee yesterday.

After I wired them money, I emailed them to let them know but to my surprise I didn't get reply. I tried to call their customer service number listed in their website several times but none pick up the phone. I even tried to call the phone number they gave as the wire's receiver but still none answer. I did leave message.

I even texted their customer service number but still no reply. I have sent them like 4-5 emails because I am very worry.

I eventually received their replies both by emails and text message in the evening. Anyone who ever purchase from them, how you actually try to get in touch with them if you want to talk to a person over the phone? Because I have tried to call their CS number listed in their website to no available.

Are they really slow in answering their emails or even text message that is sent to them? Is email the best way to reach them? They listed their CS phone number in their website but still nobody answer the phone. I hope that my first transaction with them goes smoothly (still nervous) and they can update their service better in future.

All I know about Let-Trade is that they're located in Hong Kong. Depending on where you're located, maybe it's just a matter of time difference? Maybe others can pitch in?

Before you sent the $, did you ask them to confirm the receipt of the transfer once it came through? Have you checked with your bank to see if the transaction was completed? I would assume the next step is that they will send your items out ASAP-- is there something else you are worried about?

I have never shopped with them, so I can't give any additional advice. I hope everything arrives soon!

I have purchased from let-trade ..
Woolly pompoms .. Easy and prompt via payp*l.
My emails were always answered and they were efficient.
Although, condition described was a bit under par when i received my package.
Just, be aware they are 12 HR ahead east coast time zone.

Also visit the brick and mortar, so have a few other tpfrs here!
Hope someone will chime in!

GL on your purchase... Hope to a reveal soon :D

I've avoided iChic as I feel their prices are inflated compared to other resellers.

I agree about Malleries and have the impression that some selles think they are hot
stuff for selling on that site. No warm and fuzzies in my experiences.
I may have to hit the right sellers. I know others have had a good relationship with a few sellers there. Agree, some of the prices are high and the items just sit in invntory.

Any experience with the seller jb8506 based in England??? She has several Cape Cod watches that I'm interested in, and I'd like to buy from her being both in the EU we don't have customs! TIA:smile1:

Don't worry. They are very reliable albeit a little slow in answering emails. I've bought from them before and had very positive experience.

I purchased a bag from them last year with no problem. After I pay for an item I don't e-mail again, just wait for the bag to show up. So I have no experience with their response time to e-mails.

^^ Sorry to hear it is complicated, do keep us updated on how Malleries handle this. They have a much advertised "zero tolerance" policy on fakes, but I have often wondered about how it is implemented. I also wonder what happens to the seller in question on the Malleries platform. I think you are right, it always pays to look at anything carefully, no matter where it comes from.

I have seen many items on malleries from various sellers that I

would question authenticity about... one has to ask many questions

today.. many of these items supposedly come from re-sellers who

take these items on consignment and don't bother to ask if they are

authentic...so buyer beware on malleries, too!!

I've dealt with Let-Trade before and I had no problems. They answered my emails quite promptly and shipped the item out quickly after my payment. Other members have mentioned that they are slow to answer emails so I would suggest to confirm with your bank that the payment has arrived and to keep emailing them.

I hope this works out for you, as it seems the list of trusted re-sellers, providing good customer service is getting smaller and smaller.

Agreed! The pictures appeared good, but there were only 3 of them. In hindsight, if the seller was not on Malleries, I would have requested more pictures and had the item authenticated. I trusted the Malleries name and assigned a legitimacy to the seller and the item, which was a mistake.

Outside of the authenticity issue, the H clasp on the bracelet is sprained and won't properly align with the top of the bracelet. I would expect any seller to offer a full refund on a defective item, regardless of authenticity.

I don't want to say that all Malleries items are fake, or that all Malleries sellers are counterfeiters. I've had positive experiences with several Malleries sellers and I still feel comfortable dealing with those sellers in the future; outside of Malleries. Unfortunately the Malleries name, and site assurances, provides an air of legitimacy for some less scrupulous and less knowledgeable sellers.

As my DH says, sometimes you have to pay to learn a lesson.
