Cannot speak to the validity of their other offerings, but I see no issues with this seller’s Hermès bags. A few suggestions/notes:

- Note that some of the hardware stickers are NOT original to the bags listed.
- I would ask the seller for specific pictures of the desired item(s) to make sure they do indeed have it/them.
- Make sure to take a look at the seller’s negative reviews.
- EBay will authenticate most of this seller’s Hermès bags in-person it looks like, but I would also suggest having a separate entity (not an EBay seller or EBay employee) also authenticate anything you decide to purchase.

Thanks. Would you purchase using PP and then do like a bababebi authentication or would you try to find someone who can authenticate from pics in the listing before buying?

The thing that concerns me is she appears to be a smaller operation but with a ton of stock

Very welcome!:flowers: Yes, definitely do use PP and/or Amex to purchase. Both EBay and the seller guarantee a refund if an item is found to be inauthentic, so I think any route for credible third-party authentication should be fine.

I don't have experience buying from this seller, but I will say I have not had a good experience with their communication.

I am interested in two of their items: I reached out with questions about one of them and got a bland, generic response; I reached out about the other one and the seller has ignored my question, despite follow-up attempts.

Does anyone know when Vestiaire Collective will get back to offering sales and promos?

During the fall, every time I opened the app it seemed there was some deal or other going on - get $100 off for purchase over $700, get 20% off today only, etc.

During December these dropped off which makes sense bc they probably feel like they can capitalize on the gift-buying craze. But I’m wondering if these deals will start popping back up in Jan…

I am looking for a "new" Birkin bag (size: 40; black or darker neutral; palladium). I do not want a pre-owned one. I hope to have a full (original) invoice from H as well. Can anyone recommend me good sources where I can get it? Thank you in advance!

I saw one yesterday on LeCrin (2022 production). I have purchased from them nearly a dozen times and have always been very pleased with the overall experience.

There are a few slightly older, good condition ones on Vestiaire and EBay too. Birkin 40s are seemingly being manufactured less and less frequently, so (unfortunately) if you really want a store fresh/full set one, your best option may be to purchase it through a private seller.

Thank you for your response. I just looked into the LeCrin website, which is in Japan. Is it possible to actually see it and purchase it, or is it just an online purchase?

Yes, I would prefer to have "a store fresh/full set one" (including the receipt, box, etc.). Is there a way to find a private seller in the US?

Very welcome! LeCrin have a really nice store in Tokyo and another in Singapore, but I don’t believe they have anything stateside currently. If you want more pictures of the bags, you can also email or WhatsApp the team there and they’re usually happy to send more pictures! Also I believe all their bags are sold as full sets (no receipt though, in my experience).

I only live in the US part time, so not as familiar with the private sellers there unfortunately. But maybe someone else here would know!

She is an active participant in the Hermes buy/sell/trade facebook group, and many people have bought from her and have been happy. I don't have personal experience buying from her, I'm only in the group in hopes of finding older Hermes scarves listed for sale. I believe she has only been a reseller for a year or two, so my only concern (not specific to her, just any reseller that doesn't have decades of experience handling Hermes bags) is the possiblity of a superfake slipping through, but if you are comfortable with your knowledge of Hermes bags, she is definitely a legitimate seller.

If this question has already been answered, apologies, but I'm wondering if anyone has any recent experience with buying a Birkin from Brandear on eBay. (I've bought some LV bags and Hermes scarves from Japan Monoshare and one bag, a Massai, from Brandoff--but nothing from Brandear.). My specific question: they consider best offers; I'm wondering what would be a reasonable best offer for a Bronze Togo Birkin that looks like it's in very good shape that they've listed for 10K. I'm also wondering if I'll definitely (or possibly, or won't) have to pay additional costs (import taxes) on top of the price we'd agree on. I'd be grateful for any advice here--thank you!

I bought two bags from them recently but I didn't negotiate the price. They seem to be part of the reseller crowd that work with a pool of bags that they don't physically have immediate access to, and may be available for sale on other platforms.
eBay best offers are automated, and this is a volume seller, so unless you message them, they probably have a set threshold below which an offer won't be considered.
FWIW the bags I bought were as described; I'd say I probably should have blown up the photos of the damage and staining on one of the bags and I would not have been surprised at its condition; however it was returnable and they were fine with the return. The other bag I bought after this return and very happily kept.

Taxes/duties: OT for this thread I think but it really depends on the country you're importing into 🤷‍♂️
