Just want to give review for finklepuff. The most rude seller I have encountered saying I’m wasting her tome just because I asked her standard questions about the bag she offered. Very very not recommended.

Just check her pricing. She is selling bags at a more expensive price point than the same bags at other resellers whilst her caption is “cheapest in the world” of that sort. AND most importantly the bags on her instagram are not hers nor she has seen most of them physically whilst promoting the bag to have excellent condition (this was exactly the case for bag which I enquired). I would be worried not just about the authenticity but also the actual condition of the bags she sell if she hasn’t even seen them. Most of her stuff dont have any receipt too and if you asks her questions she will say you are wasting her time. Super not recommended and I will happily spend money elsewhere.

The most recommended one in terms of service is shopfirstluxury at mandarin orchard. Lux lexicon and gallery rare is also ok.

I have read that this has been very common among sellers in Asia. You will see that some are selling the same bag. None have the bag in their possession. IDK if that has changed since I read that. I also read that finklepuff is known for selling authentic bags, but you are right -- no photos, so IDK how one can get it authenticated before purchasing. Perhaps she emails more photos?

Gallery rare and shopfirstluxury are ok. I dropped by RLM once and the lady who attended to me was rude. I should drop by luxlexicon sometime.

There’s always two sides of the story and here’s mine to reply to hopebirkin’s accusation.

She messaged and asked 2 bags (b30 black epsom phw at SGD 16500 and b30 orange epsom phw at SGD 11500) which I sent her the detailed pictures immediately per her request. She proceeded asking for a discount since she said she’s interested and going to buy both, which I gladly offered a slight discount since it’s a multiple purchase. Then she proceeded asking if I have orange with gold hardware, to which I tried and found for her B30 orange togo ghw. She then said she wants epsom with ghw and I told her I don’t have at the moment.

Then she asked if her fiance can fly to singapore to pick up personally, I said yes as long as deposit is placed he can pick up anytime in singapore. Then she asked if she and her fiance don’t want the bag, can deposit be refunded which I told her deposit is non refundable (unless authenticity issue which won’t happen because every bag is personally inspected before handed to customers) and it takes us sellers time and effort to secure the bags from owners (who sometimes change mind without informing the seller), inspected each bag and pass to our customers.

I told her if her fiance is skeptical, she can consider purchasing from local US sellers and I cannot deal with fickle minded clients, that we should not waste each other time if she’s still unsure. I told her to check back on availability of the bags again once she’s sure and made up her mind because bags can get sold anytime.

Then she proceeded saying her fiance is skeptical and being difficult so she’s convincing him, to which I told her good luck. She said she wants to buy two (again), but it’s a family discussion and not up to her to decide, this is her first purchase and she wants to make sure it’s the right decision and investment for her.

The next day she asked again if I have the videos of both bags. And I told her I only have detailed pictures which I already sent to her and I can re-take as much pics and videos once her deposit is placed (if ever). And I never hear back from her again.

The whole conversation from start to end took place for 3 days.

While it's not for me to judge what happened in a transaction between two people, I would not deal with a seller who posted the intimate details of any customer's discussions on a public forum.

No names or other identifying information was disclosed. I thought that in this thread people/resellers were permitted to post their "side of the story" when someone makes a disparaging post?

Agreed, resellers have every right to clarify their side of the story. I think this one's a little too detailed, but each to their own. I don't want to derail the thread; just observing that I personally am uncomfortable with sellers who do this.

I don’t buy from resale markets, but honestly feel that any reseller that is being called out on popular public forum such as TPF has equal right to defend themselves with “adequate” information especially when poster was mainly complaining about seller’s “business model” and their “service”.

Especially from someone who didn't really have a transaction with the seller, and implied that the seller may have authenticity issues without any actual proof!

Yes. I sold an alligator kelly to them and they had it sold within 24 hours. They have a very strong network of high end buyers.

How long did they take to respond to your initial inquiry of selling your Kelly? I’ve reached out to them to sell an exotic Birkin and haven’t received a reply. I’ve contacted them in the past and they never replied.

Hi everyone, wanted to share my recent experience with this site. https://simplychicsf.com/ They actually have a consignment store in my neighborhood. She (Sophie the owner) maintains a full set of hermes/chanel and other brands merchandise and/or honestly discloses the items that are not included. Her pricing is pretty good (there is a slight markup but not too outrageous) and was very friendly. Her store is located in a nice neighborhood and receives a lot of walk in customers. She has private appointments to view merchandise as well. I recently purchased a vintage hermes from her and it was worth it! She is an avid hermes collector so she’s very familiar authenticity and has the passion to provide great, meticulous, genuine and honest service!
