At what point do you ask a reseller for your item back? Sales overall seem slow and I’m wondering if there will be a rush after people start getting their tax refunds but wondering how long one should stick with a reseller before they call it a day. More curious than anything else. Thanks!

I debated this same issue. I had sent a bag to Ann’s in September. I was even proactive and asked them to cut the price twice. I decided to just ask for it back and use it. I’m actually excited to get it back so I think I am doing the right thing to keep it. I think it depends if you will actually use it or not. The news is reporting that refunds are lower than average this year and more people are owing money so I’m not sure what to expect about timing. Just to warn you that Ann’s took down my bag but said they only return bags in batches so it will not be sent out to me for another two weeks. Talk about lousy service start to finish. I’m just hoping they send everything back and in it’s original condition. There is one person there who is always nice to deal with. The rest are really surly and not helpful.

Thanks for this thorough description of your experience with Ann’s. I always appreciate well explained experiences, they help me immensely. :flowers:

I inquired about one of her bags on ebay recently and asked for more pictures of the scratches in daylight so I could SEE them and know what I would be getting......
Was very interested,
She sent me two very poor pictures.
I asked again.
No reply.
I moved on.
She was very rude indeed.
I asked polite and she answered in the rude way. I went to someone else even they responded slow but in nice way.

Thank you for the honest feedback. I too have a bag at Ann's and am a bit disappointed with the experience so far. Their search function is not great - the bag is hard to find unless you type in the specific color. Furthermore, they said they were going to feature my bag the day it was listed it but they did not. They also listed 3 bags in roughly the same color as mine 3 days in a row which was quite annoying. It's only been a couple of weeks but I see some bags that have been there for quite awhile. Wondering how long I should wait as I'm quite anxious to sell it so I can buy my new bag. Seems like TRR moves faster and they are in my area so it would be easy for me to drop it off.

Does anyone know what happened to Sam at Haute Gallery? His website has been dormant for sometime. I miss seeing new things.

I messaged with Sam recently - he is doing very well, and said he is doing private sales and I think he said, searching for specific items for people. He also got certified as a GIA gemologist and in general it sounds like life is being good too him!

Chessmont- many thanks for your update. I’ve often wondered about Sam. ❤️

Update on Ann’s Fabulous Finds. I did receive my bag with its accessories back after waiting two weeks but not without more hassle. It’s impossible for me to pick up FedEx ground so I offered to pay for FedEx express or asked that it be sent to my office. They agreed to ship to my office. Unfortunately on the day it was to be returned, even though I reached out that morning to confirm the return, I received an email stating that it had been sent ground to the wrong address. I had to interrupt a busy day to get on the phone and catch it before they sent it out. As I told them never again. I hired then because I’m busy and I wanted to avoid the stress of selling my bags myself. In the end i had more stress than i had selling bags on my own on eBay. If you are looking for personalized service don’t look to them. Everything is “batched” and no one is paying any attention to the details. And the lack of attention leads directly to a failure to obtain results.

Did anyone know a good Hermes reseller on instagram? Founded a lot of but don't know if they are really selling authentic
I'm fairly new here myself but I purchased my first croc constance from Achanti at SLB and had a great transaction with her. I'm think about treating myself to a birkin for my birthday next month and i'm almost certain i'll return to her. Also, PrivePorter if you're looking for something exclusive.

I have sent a K35 to AFF in Mar 2018, it took them a year to sell my bag, price was reduced twice, I am happy with their service overall but tbh I didn’t expect it would take them that long to sell.

I think K35s are hard to sell in general with the push towards smaller bags like K25s. But one year is long.
